One of the best Doctors I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and come across. Punctual. Listened to my issues, took time to understand and explain everything. Dr DiCostanzo also has an incredible sense of humour that calmed me and made me comfortable.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I went to this doctor for adult circumcision. Was very professional through all encounters and had a great experience with the nursing staff at MSH who were very helpful and kind. Pleased with the overall outcome, would recommend!

Waiting to see him for two months, he called 15 minutes early and the phone went to answer machine due to bad reception. He left a message to rebook and I called the receptionist immediately. The receptionist asked to rebook the appointment for a month and half later. I haven’t seen a ridiculous system and an arrogant doctor like this ever before. Who do you think you are? Shame on you for treating a patient in need like this. And shame on this corrupt government for providing such a broken healthcare system. I will sure raise this issue to a higher level and I can’t wait for an appropriate explanation.

Thank goodness I took my health into my own hands, and determined another option for me. Dr Danny Lovastis - who I've placed a 5 star rating given the amazing compassion that his administrative staff gave me after receiving an urgent request to be seen. I cannot rate the doctor's at Markham Urology. I can just state that to be told that ALL York region patients get referred through to these three doctors and that basically I need to get in line (even in an urgent situation) - was just disgraceful. Are we seriously stating that there are no more urologists in the region - and that you have become the bottleneck?! Well - the fact that the doctor resident at Mount Sinai could take me in less than a week and three doctors in Markham couldn't - is indicative of a systemic problem. And the staff need to understand that you're talking to a patient who is at the end of their rope. So some compassion (kind of part of the job in healthcare?!) should be employed. I'm so happy to have found Dr Lovastis, and will be focused on finding practices that truly want to focus on the patient first.

This Doctor is amazing. His staff is very compassionate and professional. Every time I have called his office Jeannette has answered all my questions and even communicated to Dr. D. my questions and I received responses back almost immediately. I would highly recommend Dr. Di Costanzo to anyone who has urology issues.

Dr Di Costanzo is a very nice man and we think a good urologist. His office staff really lets him down. That or he’s not paying them well enough.
My father had a biopsy two weeks ago and we were told to call the office to set up an appointment for three weeks from that date to discuss treatment results and treatment options.
No one will ever answer the phone there! It doesn’t matter what day or time of day you call, the machine is always on and won’t allow you to leave a message.
It’s 11:00am Friday morning and the office is closed until Monday..ok so maybe one leaves a little early on Friday, we’ve all done it. I have yet to phone at a time where they are there and answering the phones no matter what time I call during regular office hours. I don’t even try during the lunch hour!
So either they are horribly over worked ( which is on the doctor) or grossly negligent or incompetent. Shame because he seems like a good doctor we’d like to deal with
