My son loves Dr. A. and his nurse K. Unfortunately, both have left the office in VB. My son has been diagnosed with Hyperkenetic Disorder(ADHD) and several other issues. Dr. A. is very patient and is like a big kid. My son can walk in his office and Dr. A. makes the time to talk to him. His nurse is great! Where ever Dr. A. moves to is where my son, my family, and I will be seen. After Dr. A., no other doctor will do! I do not like the reception area. The receptionists are horrible and some do not seem to know what they are doing. I call and get hung up on or they are very hateful.

We absolutely love Dr. Aldrich! He is in my opinion the best pediatrician in the area. I went through a few cold uncaring doctors before I found Dr. Aldrich. My son enjoys going to see him as well. Very helpful thorough and wonderful bedside manner. He's the first in this area I was comfortable taking my child to. Thank you Dr. Aldrich and staff!

We love Dr. Aldrich! He is an excellent doctor. I'm haven't been terribly impressed with the front desk staff but his nurse is wonderful. She always remembers us when we come in, returns my calls promptly and answers questions knowledgeably. There have been times that we have had long waits, but that is to be expected in any doctor's office. Think about it, doesn't everyone want the doctor to spend the necessary amount of time with each patient instead of rushing through the appointments. Dr. Aldrich will go out of his way to explain everything that he does and why, something that other doctor's just don't do. He never overlooks or undermines a parent's concerns, and if he doesn't know, he has no problem telling you that and sending you to someone who does. And referencing some of the other comments, I breastfeed my son and we co-sleep and that has had no effect on Dr. Aldrich's treatment of us. Overall he has been a wonderful doctor.

Dr Aldrich was a wonderful man but his staff are the most hatefully people I ever met....and dnt take up for yourself or they'll send u a letter & fire u as patient and never call in an emergency as they're NOTICE letter says they will. Very pitiful for the kiddos. If he would do that, he wasn't the man we Thot he was.

We have been so blessed to have him as our pediatrician since my daughter was about 6 months old! Once I ran into the office just at closing as my daughter had developed a UTI and needed to be seen. I of course did not realize they were closing but Dr ALdridge was tehre and heard me in the waiting room. He came out ordered a urine culture and gave us antibiotics at no charge to us! What an awesome caring thing to do that you do not see these days! we were so disappointed when he moved from our area but are so glad he is back. He is the smartest most caring doctor in this area and HMA is lucky to have him back! I hope they take care of him so he will stay! I always recommend him to my friends and anyone I meet that have children.

Dr. Aldrich is the #1 Dr in our area. Old fashioned and up to date. Those rating him poorly below are not a patient. We are never treated like that. I've only waited 1x in the lobby for a while because he was having to admit a seriously ill child. Nearly dying child. So I think I can wait for him to save a child's life. Tiffany is an amazing receptionist. Kareena is the best nurse. And my baby Sidney loves them all. I highly recommend this doctore to anyone who doesn't want the bs and anyone who wants accuracy and to see progress.

My kids have gone to him for almost 12 years and we love him . He even moved away for a year and as soon as he came back to town we made sure to go right back to him . Best childrens doctor I know . I have had some problems with the women who anwser the phones leaving me on hold and forgetting about me or not getting messages to the doctor about refills on perscriptions , but I would not change doctors over that .

We saw Dr. Aldrich during his time in Kansas City, and we were so disappointed when he moved. He was the only dr that had given my concerns with my daughter full attention, and it turned out that there were serious things going on. From day 1 he was there, and listened and took action. During the 6 months we saw him, we were probably at his office weekly, bi-weekly between furthest visits. He is proactive and knows that sometimes those silly kids show up acting like they never showed any symptoms. He referred us to the specialists we needed, and when some drs started to over-act, or maybe, get ahead of themselves, he listened to my concerns, and we made the decisions together that we felt were needed. I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Joseph Aldrich. Honestly, I have considered making the drive to his current office because he is such a good dr, and he knows my daughter's history so well. Trust me when I say, you wont regret trusting your child's welfare with this ped!

Receptionist was horrible all around unhelpful when asked questions and typical wait time on the phone was about 15-20 mins and in the lobby about one hour, what if my son was super sick? As for the medical team it was iffy..If your child is formula fed i'm sure this would be a good doctor. But NOT for breastfed babies, they do not use world health org. charts only CDC and refused to even consider switching..after telling the nurse I may not be back because if he was so stubborn on a chart how would he feel about typical attachment parenting( co sleeping BLW etc). That's when the doctor told the nurse he wouldn't even see my son! I may not have been the standard parent in an area like this (AR) but I feel that wasn't very professional. I'll be back to let you know if I was charged to be seen when he never even came in the room. If your looking for a progressive doctor this IS NOT your guy.
