Dr Chichak Is a great dr he never rushes you and is Knowledgable
Regarding diabetes and the proper medication. His staff is always nice and very accommodating.

The staff NEVER answer their phone and don't return calls after we've left a message. Terrible, terrible service.

To the people who left these heart-wrenching reviews of their experience with this quack doctor, why don't you report him to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta?
He has caused harm (so much for the Hippocratic Oath) but keeps practicing as no one complains about him.

I'm not just an angry daughter to a mother who had passed away due to high volumes of opiates in her system causing her to have a massive heart attack before her 65 birthday.... I am on a lifelong mission to make sure that one day you choke on every dollar that you stole from my family even though you knew my mother had a an addiction issue. You issued her pills that she didn't even need and even wrote down conditions she never had You're a murderer and I hope I don't see you in a dark alley

My grandfather has been seeing this doctor for years. A couple years ago he brought up an issue of not being able to swallow. It was passed off by the doctor as him just getting older. He brought up the issue multiple times and the doctor finally sent in for a specialist to see my grandfather. It was taking forever to get into the specialist. My grandfather was losing a lot of weight because he literally couldn't eat. He called the doc again recently and they made him come in. Didn't even look at his throat, just took his blood pressure and said they would try and put a rush on the specialist to get him in. Made us come all the way down there just for that. Probably because he only gets paid when he sees patients. We confronted them about that and they said they wanted him to come in to make sure he didn't need to go to emergency. Well guess what, he did! And yet they still just passed it off.
When my grandfather FINALLY got in to see the specialist it was determined that he has throat cancer. The specialist said it should have been caught a long time ago. Our family is beyond frustrated with the lack of care from this doctor. He didn't take any of my grandfathers concerns seriously and just passed them off. Now he is in the hospital and isn't even healthy enough for surgery because he has lost so much weight and his body is starved of nutrients. We don't know how long he has left now.
If the doctor had taken his concerns seriously this would have been caught a very long time ago. and could have been treated.

I have been seeing Dr. Chichak for a few years now, I love him. He is so through and always gets back to me with results. I was seeing him as an endocrinologist and when I expressed my concerns with my family doctor, he offered to be my family physician. He is kind, caring and always asks if I have any concerns with my health. Always sends for testing if there is concerns .
