Not only the worst Doctor but a sorry excuse for a human being if she really is one.

unbelievable that a person with this lack of compassion would ever consider going into the medical field. to make me come back weekly for refills that was absolutely not necessary, they could have easily been combined together. absolutely no regard for the fact that I could not take that much time off work. and when it came to anything more serious she was useless. I really hope for the people of London she is not allowed to practice again!

Why is this Doctor still practicing?? I went to this doctor 7 years ago when I had just moved to London and was pregnant with my first child. I went to her for my initial 3 appointments during my pregnancy and what should have been the happiest times and appointments were a NIGHTMARE! She didn't answer any of my questions about my pregnancy, when I told her I fainted when giving blood she would not allow me to lay down but rather stated, "If you are having your blood taken, sit in the chair" then walked out of the room immediately after pulling my blood and didn't even make sure I was okay. My husband had to practically pick me up off the floor as I had started to faint! WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!

Double dip OHIP queen. Won't let you bring two issues to her attention at once. Insists you book a second appointment. Also rude and condescending.

My family had her as our doctor years ago when our doctor retired. We didn't see Dr Melville very long though. First, we had to wait 45 minutes to an hour just to see her. She was impatient and rude. One time my dad and I went to ask her for anti depressants since I was very depressed after a recent sexual abuse incident (I had just turned 14) and had been sent to ER by my school for suicidal thoughts. My dad and I both took turns to explain what was going on since it was hard for me to talk about. She interrupted my dad and said only one person talk! Finally, she refuses to give me the medication and kept saying I needed a physical, had I had a physical done yet? I wasn't raped so we couldn't figure out why she was pushing that. Another time my mom saw her and she felt my mom's tummy and said you have more fat in your middle area than a woman your size should have! My mom was offended because besides that my mom is only moderately fluffy, you don't need someone else pointing out what you can see with your own eyes anyway. Then I saw her when I four stitches put in the arch of my foot in the ER and had to see my doctor to have them removed. I was instructed to lay on my stomach on the bed and she said nothing more, just proceeded to remove the stitches, clean it quickly and put a regular band aid on my wet foot, said done and walked out! I'd never had stitches removed and couldn't see what was being done so she should've explained what she was doing as she did it or something along that lines! My mom was in the room when it happened and was upset with her behaviour towards me too. Shortly after we were at Southdale Medical Clinic because I was having abdominal pain. The doctor there was so nice and after hearing about our horrible treatment by Dr Melville, took my whole family of four on (it was a walk in and family practice). That doctor moved to London Medicentres but we still see that same doctor because we love her. She told us she had a bunch of dr melvilles patients come to her so she knew how bad she was.

I thought I lucked out when I moved to London and was able to get a doctor right away. I was wrong, it's been the beginning of a nightmare. I went to her seeking help with back pain, bladder lose and tingling in my lower limbs. She told me it was nothing and would go away. I ended up in the ER, I'm on modified duties at work, and I've now seen her twice for this issue with no help whatsoever. I'm hoping the ER report will smack some sense into her. She's rude, unkind, does not listen and is not in anyway interested in helping people.

Myself and my family hate our family doctor. She's extremely rude and unfriendly. Not very helpful at all.

I went to her twice only. I requested a referral to a plastic surgeon for a non-cosmetic procedure that is only done here by that type of physician. She told me to 'open the phone book and call myself'. I doubted that would work but I gave it a shot. The next week I returned for bloodwork (she does her own blood draws) and I told her that I had no success with self-referral. She stated 'What is wrong with your hearing? I told you over and over that I don't do plastic surgery referrals'. I got up and left. I find it laughable that she claimed to have told me something 'over and over' when I only saw her two times. Regardless, within 2 months I had a new family doctor, a referral and the actual surgery. There are other options.
