I am finally able to change doctors! Dr. Nisperos never answers any questions I have about my children's health and is never clear about treatments. Anytime she has made a diagnosis and I have questions she rushes me out and I leave confused as to the treatment and frustrated that she didn't want to work with me. The most recent case was my 11 year old had a rash and bumps all over his body. Just by looking she said it was Scabies!! So I treated him and my entire home for this parasite. After a week of no improvement I returned and asked if I could take him to a dermatologist to make sure of the diagnosis before we continued with harsher treatment. She would not hear me!! She insisted she was a doctor and it was obvious it was scabies!! I was not convinced that this is what he had. She would NOT give me a referral to a specialist! Finally after raising my voice and refusing to leave without a referral one of her assistants gave me an address to a walk in clinic. Guess what?!! Turned out to be Pityriasis Rosea a NON contagious, not very serious skin rash!! He missed school and baseball for 1 week for no reason! I know doctors can misdiagnose sometimes but what I'm most upset about is her reluctance to hear me out and work with me to get my son well. She would not listen to me at all. She even went as far as saying " I'm sick and my throat hurts, I can't talk to you anymore" I was shocked at her behavior. Many other little incidences had occurred throughout the year I had been taking my kids to her but this was the last and worst experience I have ever had with any medical professional. I would never recommend anyone to take their children to be treated by her. I would rather go to the E.R than be treated the way she treated myself and my son. Ridiculous
