I was probably one of his first patients when he started. I had no issue ..ignored his inappropriateness it wasn’t significant until one day he lost it and mishandled me. It blindsided me the level of disrespect I never went back. I think it went downhill once I asked about too many issues and he felt I was impacting his bottom line$$. All he had to say make another appointment I can only address 2 issues per visit. I’m uncomfortable to repeat what he said to me. I do wish him well hope he gets some help for whatever is his problem

FEMALES - this doctor is a predator. Stay away! Went into clinic for a yeast infection and he asked inappropriate questions. Then he followed me out of the office and tried to get me to go down to the parking garage with him. His licence should be revoked. Stay away. I wish I never saw the guy.

Dr. Bernard has been my first male doctor and I've been his patient for 10+ years. I'm shocked at some of the comments here. I find him extremely personable and easy to speak with. He is always patient and quick to explain anything asked of him. I love that I can get an 8am appointment with him and he's always on time. Zero complaints and I would recommend him to anyone.

I have had many dealings with Dr Bernard over the last 10+ years, both as an on call doctor in the Albany Walk in clinic and as my late wife and youngest son’s doctor. I never found him helpful or kind. He is often condescending in his manner. He could not provide much help for my late wife during the last years of her life. While my youngest son has liked him, we recently found out that he misdiagnosed his diabetes as type 2 when it was actually type 1. Hopefully this diagnosis from a number of years ago hasn’t caused any permanent damage. My older son and I will be actively recommending that he find a new doctor.

Very conceited and rude! He has no bedside manner and likes to speak to people, in a condescending manner. Very dissatisfied. Not interested in seeing him again.

While I believe he is a smart guy and knowledgeable he is a horrible human being and a very arrogant. He doesn’t care about his patients or their health. He is in it for the money and takes pleasure in demeaning and gaslighting his patients. Would definitely not recommend this doctor.

My GP for 10+ years. Condescending and quick to dismiss any concerns or information you present even when it may be relevant to diagnosing your condition, passive aggressive demeanour, offers little in the way of options for how to proceed in the future based on only a quick description of injury and a cursory google search, seems to show little interest in getting to the bottom of something instead preferring to give a quick answer and dismiss any follow up questions. When asked to reiterate what he told me so I can remember the details he became frustrated, and when I told him I couldn't remember something that he told me, he said 'well that's your problem'. I have been to mechanics who showed more concern and curiosity in dealing with my car than he does in dealing with patient concerns.

I found Dr. Bernard very knowledgeable and his staff efficient... I first saw him at the Walk-In Clinic, liked how he responded to my issues, and am glad he accepted me as his patient... After two in-person visits and two telephone-visits, I can't be more satisfied.

I saw him at the walk in clinic and found him to be very helpful and kind.
He assessed my issue, listened to my concerns and prescribed the appropriate medication. He even gave me a follow up call a few days later with my lab results! Overall, very happy that I saw Dr Bernard.
