I just had my first visit with him today, He gets down to the business at hand with no BS talking about unrelated things. I like his approach ! He was polite and professional explained what he needed to say about my illness.

I was sent to Dr Winder as another Dr thought I had a TIA. Yes there was a wait for my appointment but he was busy. In the time I was there he saw two other patients, one was a person who just had a TIA and was fit in ASAP. He also took one call that I know of from the hospital about a stroke patient in ER.

He was VERY professional and covered off everything on my chart and more. Did a examination to make sure I did not have a TIA, even with my tests saying it was not needed. Answered a number of other questions I had about an underlying illness. As for the receptionist there was one person that was on the desk and was doing blood pressure so she was busy but VERY efficient and professional.

I've never encountered so many red flags at a Dr's appt in my whole life.
Women , "Be sure to put your gown on backwards and keep your underwear on " as per his instructions ! Apparently ... he hates it when the opposite happens !!
Listen to your gut. Leave at the first sign of disrespect. Don't waste 2 hrs there like I did.

Dr. Winder misdiagnosed me which led to using expensive medication for the wrong thing. It also led to a delay in the proper diagnosis which made my illness progressive more.

A JOKE. Thanks to him and his mis-diagnosis of a field that he has no idea of and his egotistical "wait and see" attitude, My wife has been in a wheelchair for a year and a half and probably will never be able to walk again. We are NOT DONE with you. My wife is paralysed from the waste down. The Dr's in Calgary said if that they have got her IMMEDIATELY like your assistant suggested instead of your ARROGANT "Wait and see" attitude, she WOULD NOT be in a wheelchair today. Went to take my grandma to see him today. she was denied being seen today cause I didn’t have childcare available for my five year old son and had to bring him with us. The nurse rebooked her appointment and said if we couldn’t find valid childcare for my son our family Dr would have to see my grandma then.
This appointment was for a follow up to a stroke she has had.

Saw this doctor in the ER. Initially believed my dad was having a stroke. Upon assessment he was extremely rude to my dad who is hearing impaired and couldn’t hear him properly. Had a rude tone and was condescending. He did not listen properly, and kept getting the story wrong. He essentially couldn’t determine why my dad was having issues but rather than say that, told him he slept on his arm wrong ? The ER doctor disagreed and is referring him for an MRI. The process of dealing with him was terrible. I could simply not believe how ignorant he was.
