Dr. Messina and his nurse Joanne were such a huge help to my mother when I was little. Dr. Messina has always been at the forefront of healthy lifestyles and preventive medicine with his work. He is part of shaping who I am becoming as a physician even though I last saw him just prior to age 4.

Dr. Messina is a great doc. Kids have been going there since 2006. Very caring and thorough with physicals. Calls to check on kids when they are sick. Nurse Joanne can be wish washy with attitude, but there is never a wait period. Only bad side, hours are limited

Lazy doctor with a bad attitude. He refused to listen to my twins hearts because they were crying he would throw his hands in the air, as if he gives up, we waited forever, wouldnt take insurance. Nobody would help me get them undressed, not even that nasty nurse thats been working for him for 100 yrs. The worst, worst, worst pediatrician I ever seen.

We have used this doctor since my daughter was an infant and now my grandson goes to him. we think he's a great doctor.I find it strange he told someone NOT to give the baby formula and they HAD to nurse. His staff is great too. When we needed him he was always there. He also calls to check on the children when they are sick. This was always his way,he did it 21 years ago and he still does it now. We have never had a problem when we needed to bring my grandson in as an emergency, they always make time.

He needs to retire! He told me that i was not allowed to give my newborn formula. he said that i had to strictly nurse! AND NO PUMPING. When i ask "what if i need to go out, how will my child eat if i didn't pump" and he said that 'I CHOSE TO BE A MOM & I NEED TO SACRIFISE' not to leave/go out. He's a looney old man!
