He was our family doctor and he over-prescribed many times. He is so personable and kind, but he has a serious record of misconduct. Please look up the disciplinary action on the CPSO website.

he is the best doctor anyone could ask for always there for you when you need him. i have been going to him for 37 years. will really miss him when he retires.

In 1995 my father was prescribed another medication besides the four he was already taking. Unfortunately for him Dr. Pontarini had prescribed conflicting meds! On Dec 15th 1995 due to the complications brought on by these meds we brought our now green/yellow skinned father to emerge. He had not had to urinate for three days due to malfunctioning kidneys. The admitting nurse recognised the problem as soon as she saw what he was taking. Unfortunately it was to late and our beloved father passed away on Dec. 31st 1995. Pontarini is also involved in prescribing narcotics to his crack head mafia friends. Feel free to look up his disciplinary record if you don’t believe me. This guy should have lost his license to practice long ago. The fact that he is practicing right beside the largest most prestigious hospital in Canada says a lot about our medical system. I personally have lost all faith in it thanks to this real life bonafide criminal who kills people, prescribes unnecessarily OxyContin and can still walk around a free man. Over the years I have heard other stories about him from former patients and others that had the misfortune to cross paths with this mobster. Note all the fake 5 star ratings. Go look at his disciplinary record. It boggles my mind this guy is still in practice. These fake reviews are what led me to this comment. Pontarini is a fraud !!!!

Dr Pontarini saw me withour hesitation when I was very ill and concerned. Dr Pontarini sent me to ER for testings after telling him my symptoms. Dr Pontarini saved my life on that day, after visiting 2 ER s in my area and sent away without treatment. Dr Pontarini is my hero in medicine.

Dr.Pontarini has been my family Dr.since 1987..I actually met him in the hospital while i was diagnosed with a bladder infection..I asked him if i could be his patient and he has been up to today..33 years now..He is the best Dr i have ever had..Considerate-Kind-knows what he is doing..Anything wrong with me, he is always there .Keep up the good work Dr.Pontarini and i hope he does not retire anytime soon..He is very appreciated by me.#1 Dr.I have placed my trust in..He is very trustful.I dont know what I would do without him..Fantastic Dr.Always there when i need him.. His secretary is a great person..

Dr Pontarini has been my Doctor for close to 35 years. He is by far one of the best Doctors i have encountered. His level of patient care is 2nd to none. Chiara in his office is amazing. When I tell my friends and family the care he gives, nobody believes me that a doctor like this still exists. I fear the day he retires because I know I will never get the level of care he gives me. 5 stars is not enough of of rating. He is a rare diamond!
