Dr. Mitchell Zelman provided me with the best healthcare experience I may have ever received. They were so understanding and knowledgable. Dr. Zelman made me feel heard, understood and treated me though I was a patient but also with the respect in which I would think he would treat any person he encounters in his day to day life. Though it was not a pediatric visit, he was just as exceptional as I am sure he was with pediatric patients. He was able to answer any questions I had regarding myself or my healthcare needs. Patient care was phenomenal. He is an excellent doctor.

I understand everyone has there different experiences, but when I read some reviews I can’t believe it. I have Dr Zelman for both my kids and I have to tell you he is absolutely fantastic. He listens to everything I have to say and takes great care in making sure I follow what he has to say. I am so thankful we were referred to him and I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent doctor, he saved my son’s life. My son had an operation which had to be done. My doctor Dr. Zelman performed an operation that saved my son’s life. My son was only two weeks old and premature. I am so thankful for Dr. Zelman. While this was ongoing I stayed at Ronald MacDonald house and was back and forth the hospital. This doctor is extremely wise and makes good decisions.

Dr Zelman has failed to submit the paperwork for my step sons medication many times. This is a child he has diagnosed with severe ADHD, ODD and also a sensory disorder. His receptionist is rude, doesnt pass along messages and doesnt answer the phone. Weve called in for emergency refils and get nothing. Promises are made that his medication will be submitted for fill time and time again and this continues to happen. Now over christmas we go to get his refill and find out his prescription wasnt sent in to the pharmacy. Again..

So hes been unmedicated for weeks. Struggling every single day. Because why?

We will be looking for a new physician. We cannot continue to watch our son struggle because the dr looking after him and his office cant be bothered to fill an 8yr olds medication..

Does not listen to you, talks over you, super quick to diagnose without listening to everything you need to say. Makes me very anxious trying to talk to him. Forgets what you told him in past about your child’s concerns. Have heard from many resources including councillors that they’ve heard bad things about him. One of the receptionists is a miserable cow.

Amazing doctor!! Saw him for many years and was sad to turn 18 and no longer be able to have him. He is a star in my books and I am forever thankful he became my pediatrician many years ago!!

Dr. Zelman was precise & said “she has inflammation around her heart & her ribs are pushed up, but I don’t want to treat her at this time”. A follow up was never done & when called to do a follow up Dr. Zelman was no longer there. Some great concerned doctor he is. Leaves you hanging.
