As a professional person, she treated me very Unwell, Like i had no knowledge of myself and I QUICKLY reminded her that I AM THE EXPERT of MY BODY. I don't recommend anyone see her at all. I expected much more from a new Grad...well not really! She needs to go back and learn VALUES and how to treat people.

I have gone to Dr. Edwards for about 30 years, so a long time. I have always been treated very well by her and her staff. She takes time to listen to any issues I have, has referred me to specialists when needed, and always gets back to me with test results. Beyond that, I really like her as a person.

With all the people who gave this doctor a good rating I hope for their sake that there is a different Laura Edwards practicing in Katy. When I got really sick in March I went to her and she prescribed which was no effective. That is not the issue. After being sick for two weeks and no relief I called back and asked if i could come in for a follow up. I let the nurse know that there was no relief. The nurse's response was that she will consult with the doctor and call back. Three days and three phone calls later the respond I received was that I need to go to a specialist. I set an appointment with the specialist but had to wait a month. In the meantime I called to see if I could setup an appointment for a follow up. And the response once again was that I will have to wait to the specialist. By the time I got to the specialist my condition worsened and I was told by the specialist that the simple fix was antibiotics if I was treated in the early stages.

Most wonderful Doctor she is more then thorough. Been going to see her for six years. She takes her time and her staff are so sweet and caring. I would see no other Doctor and after all these years, treat Me like family.

I am a nurse and was told never to judge when we are care for the patient. But this was the only thing Dr Edwards did during my recent visit . I went to see her for red eye and used my eye drop from previous. She saw me for a few minutes and walked out without saying anything. Nurse came back and gave me a card for specialist. She was done with me without giving any diagnosis. I waited in the room until she passed by. she was surprised I was not gone. She was very upset and said" you self medicated yourself! That is all". She only made me felt bad and not she was not helpful at all. By the way I called her the week before for my red eye, she was not in office for a week. I think she failed as a Doctor as this visit, and I am not going back.

Went in for normal check-up - She ran blood test and urinalysis - then she told me I had an UTI I was like HUH - Two weeks later went back in severe pan left side - she ran another urinalysis, this one came back with all the markers for kidney issurs only she tells me I have a sever UTI - took results to another DR who instantly ordered CTScan of kidneys - came to find out I have a mass and lesion on my left kidney. Talk about misdiagnosis!! Dr Edwards totally did not take the time to read the urinalysis results or go the extra steps to follow thru with the proper testing which was very obvious in the 2nd urinalysis. I would not recommend her to anyone!!!!

I don't really feel she gave any helpful advise when I told her my problem. It seemed like she avoided it and chitchatted with me on other topics. Then I remembered my issue and asked for her opinion. What I was told was to go to a specialist to have an evaluation. That is it. No more.

Worst Doctor I've ever been to. I was newly married and only 25. I started having problems with my periods and they gave me panic attack symptoms. I had never been sick or had anything wrong with me. She came out of the room and asked my new husband if he thought I was acting like this to get out of having sex!!!! I went to another doctor and they immediatley admitted me into the hospital. I had a ruptered cyst on one of my ovaries and it was bleeding on the inside. I also had an infection in one of my falopian tubes with scaring. This gave me a less chance of conceiving on that side......The symptoms were bloating, irregular periods, pain and discomfort, diahrea, and hormone flucuations that gave me panic attack symptoms. Worst Doctor ever!!!!!!

I will never forget the day she ran out on me when I told her the meds she was giving me made me feel suicidal. She ran out and through her thin walls I learned she cared more about liability than helping me. I've known her a long time and the other reviews really don't fit. Not the first doc to doctor reviews.
