I saw Dr. Paulson until my insurance ran out and I couldn't afford the full price anymore. He was always helpful and nice and worked with me to find medications that worked, keeping in mind that not all things work as intended on all people. He was interested in my life and did not force me to make more appointments than I needed. Together we found the medication I needed to treat my depression to the point where I am a functional, happy person. I am back on insurance and am looking into getting him for my husband because he is the best.

I just really love and appreciate Dr. Paulson. He has literally saved my life more than once. After I was diagnosed with bipolar, I started studying up a ton about it, and together, after 6 years of coping with it and a lot of trial and error, I feel very confident in myself in dealing with it as part of my life and I am no longer afraid or angry about bipolar disorder. He validates all my fears and compliments me on my efforts in the battle and has given perfect professional advice time and time again when I need it. He has never made me feel stupid. I feel he cares about his patients and wants them to succeed. He's not arrogant at all, humble in fact, and looks up stuff on his computer in front of me if he's not 100% positive on things. When I have been irrational and psychotic, he is sensitive to the situation and handles it the way I need it to be handled. I respect him and appreciate him and I wouldn't be the same person today if I never met him. I am so grateful that I did!

I have see Dr. Paulson for 4 years now. He has always been gentle and kind and he really knows his stuff. He isn't the kind of doctor that just shoves medication down your throat- he will treat your problem from many angles. I have never felt like I was going in for a "med check". He has always been available in an emergency and isn't so overbooked that it is impossible to make an appointment. Dr. Paulson has been nothing but fabulous.

This doctor was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met in my life! He was completely rude, insulting and very full of himself! On my first and last visit with Dr Paulson I told him that my previous doctor had pulled me off of a medication because I was having some bad side effects that were getting worse over time. My previous doctor told me that I needed to stop the medication because it was possible that it could even cause permanent damage. After I told Dr Paulson this he told me that I must have concocted that idea up in my own head and that I must have a subconscious fear of medications because he had never heard of such a thing before. Basically calling me not only a liar but a nut case as well. I told him that that was not the case at all and he insisted that I was wrong because he knows everything and I am just a stupid, crazy patient. This guy is a complete QUACK! I would stay as far away from this cracker jack doctor as you can.
