Absolutely unprofessional. Arrogant. I went in for carpal release, used his forearm as a tourniquet and local anesthesia (5 needles into the wrist) I am terrified of surgery after this horrible experience. Absolute worst. Don't get sick in Sudbury.

Dr Hendel did a wonderful job in treating my mother’s leg injury. He allowed the natural healing process to take place by creating the right environment and her wound healed. - without a skin graft. We learned a great deal about the body’s ability to heal itself. Thank you, Dr Hendel!

IWENT INTO SUDBURY FOR A SEVERE INJURY TO MY WRIST. HE WAS SO REASSRING AND HE GOT ME INTO SURGERY AND HIS FOLLOW UP HAS BEEN AMAZING. WE STILL GO TO SEE HIM. THE STAFF ON THAT FLOOR IS WONDERFUL COULDN'T ASK FOR NICER STAFF AND THE DOCTER HIMSELF IS AMAZING. I FELT SO COMFORTABLE WITH HIM AND THE REASSURANCE HE GAVE ME FOR MY INJURY

I had sun damage to my ear as a youth. It grew into somewhat of a horn. Dr handle was clear, concise and professional with a down to earth personality.. I was booked in for day surgery. The procedure was done under a local freezing. We both had conversation throughout the procedure. A pleasant experience that just got better. Perfect job. I’m so pleased. Thanks to everyone involved.

My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I went in for a routine asymmetry surgery and left with a botched, badly scarred breast. In fact I ended up losing two full cup sizes on one side when this routine procedure should have simply removed approximately half a cup. His bedside manor was horrible and I was left waiting in recovery for 4 hours without word since he “forgot” and was instructed to see him in his office the next morning instead. Upon my follow up I was told “guess I took too much”. I would recommend that anyone seeking breast surgery, do your homework and look elsewhere. I have had 2 reconstructive surgeries since and will never feel the confidence I once had.

I was refered to Dr Hendel after being diagnosed with basil cell carcinoma on my nose. It was one tragedy after another over several years ,simply because he did not use available service like MRI and cat scan to see the extent of damage. 7 years later after getting a death sentence at HSN, I decided to get a second opinion. Doctors at Princess Margaret Hospital have given me another chance of surviving. If Hendel had taken every precaution at the fist treatment when the BCC was small, I.E. have at least an MRI taken, instead of relying on what he could see, clearly not competent to serious diseases like this cancer. Princess Margaret Doctors quickly had both MRI and CT scans taken to assess my present condition. Treatment was started in days.
