Dr. Desrosiers, I never got a chance to thank you after my two brief visits with you. You were professional but also a human being offering guidance. You asked me two simple questions that helped me make a life-changing decision. My twin daughters are 10 now. Pregnancy complications aside, they're perfectly healthy, happy, and hilarious. Of all the doctors I have crossed paths with, you are one who made a very large impact in a short period of time.

Dr. Desrosier is a wonderful physician. I feel very fortunate to have him as my family doctor. He is knowledgeable, kind and on time. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor! He will be missed when he retires.

I’ve been a patient since I was 7 years old and without any type of notification I’m advised through word of mouth that he’s retiring and no one is taking over his tactics. Knowing I’m pregnant and my due date coincides with his retirement there was no concern about finding a new family doctor for myself and my newborn.

I’ve been disappointed in Desroisers for several years now. His lack of concern for his clients has greatly declined in the last few years. I consistently had to be an advocate for myself and request testing because my symptoms were continually overlooked.

I now also have to pay a $35 fee to get my own medical file because he’s retiring and no one is taking over his practice.

Honestly I would have switched Doctors years ago if this province wasn’t in the situation it is, but thank you for your years of terrible service and complete lack of concern.

Doctor Desrosiers is such an awesome doctor, without him even being my family doctor he put an IUD in for me with no questions asked. I had next to no time waiting in the waiting room, and I only had to wait a few days for my appointment. I’d highly recommend him to anyone :) Thanks Dr. Desrosiers!

Dr. Desrosiers was my family doctor when I lived in Halifax, he is amazing doctor extremely smart and caring. I was very fortunate to have him as a doctor, he delivered my baby girl she's now 21. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Desrosiers is a life saver, literally! He, along with therapy, helped me climb out of a terrible depression. He was my doctor for a procedure at the VG, and he instantly took me as a permanent patient - my first family doctor in 15 years. 10/10 would recommend.

gets to know you, blunt but kind, common sense , can talk to him about anything, knows more about me then some family members, took me and a friend in as patients , no hesitation, me because of numerous health problems and my friend because i brought her in, both from sm town 21/2 hours away

Jacques has common sense and is very caring. I started seeing him 20+ years ago - after seeing me once, he came to hospital after I was admitted to follow up. He didn't need to do that, but that kindness has characterized my entire relationship with him. He's the best.

If there were a way to give 6 stars, I would. His staff are friendly and take the time to get to know you. Dr. Desrosiers is cautious but casual - if he feels you are truly concerned or if there is any possiblity of complications he will order more tests/ look into things further/ send you to a specialist. But he is not overzealous, and knows how to calm you into waiting and seeing.
