Great doctor ! I was treated well and the surgery was easy I went back to work fast.

Our experinces with this Doctor foound him to be extremely unprofessional and insensitive. His bedside manner is non-existent and his attitude is lousy. Then again, after learning the he attentded Medical school at a Carribean Island (St. Maarten) diploma mill I guess it is to be expected.

Dr Hirsch and his staff provided excellent care and follow-up. I'd recommend Dr. Hirsch for a hernia repair to anyone.

This doctor specializes in hernia surgery. His staff is unprofessional and totally enept. Don't believe a thing they tell you. They are also unpunctual and very impersonal. I need surgery for a double hernia. I have no Ins. therfore have to pay cash out of my (unemployed - due to the injury) pocket. Their website quoted a $4000 price. I questioned this (and provided details and my doctors prognosis)and was told emphaticaly that the price was still $4000.They agreed on a date for the proceedure When I was evetually contacted by phone they said they had made a mistake and would have to rescheule me. At the end of our conversation I stated that I was surprised that the price was the same for a double hernia proceedure as for a single one. I was then told "oh.. thats $3500 extra". I said " I can't pay that!" Their heart felt reply "oh...well". I had previously had the proceedure scheduled to be done in S. AMerica (to save money), but had canceled. Now I have to spend Months in pain.
