Dr. Sue was very frustrated with us that even my teenage son noticed her being so short tempered. She answered my questions with attitude, like I was asking her stupid questions. I can't believe how rude and unfriendly she was. She started complaining about how so many patients were asking for doctor's note and that this is wasting her time. She told me she would charge me 20 dollars for it if I want it. But if she had time to complain to me about lots of people asking for doctor's note, she definitely had time to write a quick one sentence note for my son. I am very disappointed how she treated us.

love n appreciate dr turgeon! my fav thing about her is that she takes the time to build doctor patient rapport and trust. sometimes you will wait a lil bit for her but when she is with you she does not rush you, rather she commits herself to ensuring you understand what is going on. honestly, our family can't be happier that she is our physician. life is hard and has many circumstances, everyone should have a good natured, knowledgable doctor like her on their side :)

She repeatedly downplayed my concerns, decided I was a malingerer, and as a result of her assessment that my symptoms were psychological I ended up nearly dying. I eventually diagnosed myself and insisted she refer me to a specialist. It took 3 visits to get the referral but when I did my self diagnosis was immediately confirmed. I Became so ill that. Ended up on medical leave from work for 3 years, now have a chronic illness (that had it been diagnosed and treated would not have become chronic and life threatening). She was incredibly dismissive to me, lacked compassion and concern. I eventually ordered my records (after finding another doctor), and was a chocked to see how little of what I had conveyed to her about my symptoms had made it into her notes. Steer clear.

I never know which Dr. Turgeon I’m going to get at my next appointment. Sometimes she is friendly and caring while another time she’s completely dismissive. We go over my concerns but she does not seem to take notes and has often times forgotten to even write basic prescriptions let alone update my file. She seems to think that she knows more about my body than I do and is frequently indifferent and condescending. Never acknowledges all of the strides and I have made toward health because she has already branded me as a “certain type of patient“. Needs to upgrade her knowledge of female anatomy as she has no idea what a G-Spot is. Forgetful and has even said I was lying because she didn’t remember our meeting or take notes therefore, she says it isn’t true. Hard to be unwell and be constantly dismissed while she refuses to refer me to past specialists I have seen and should continue to be part of my complex medical condition team.

I have been with Dr Turgeon for 10+ years and am very grateful for her care. She takes time to explain medical conditions, prescriptions, etc and is thoughtful to refer to a specialist if indicated. I feel very confident in her knowledge, expertise and care.

Dr. Turgeon was my mums doctor for a long time and help see her to her leaving! She has been my doctor even longer. She is very knowledgeable and a great part of my health care team. Doing my best to stay healthy and out of need for extensive healthy care.

I have been seeing Dr. Turgeon for a few years since my last doctor closed his practice as he recommended her and she was only take patients with diabetes. My experience has been very positive at Mid-Main and with Dr. Turgeon. I am surprised when I see comments that she is dismissive - never with me. She is so caring and detailed and I feel lucky to have her as my doctor. I have recommended her and Mid-Main to others who also have had had positive experiences.

Sue Turgeon doesn't just lack good bedside manners, she is rude, unhelpful and outright hostile. She doesn't listen to your concerns or acts like she doesn't give two hoots about your health. She behaves like a person who hates her job but can't leave because she is so bad it no other clinic would hire her and has become bitter over the decades of being stuck. Worst doctor ever.

This is a second comment that I am leaving about Dr. Sue Turgeon now. I have been her patient for approx. 25 years now. I was a bit critical of her in my first review because she declined to drain my abscesses and clean-out my large white/black heads. That still is her problem. Otherwise she is very good if not excellent. She is a very good person and I like her a lot. Mid Main Clinic is an excellent Clinic.
