He came into the room and said that's precancerous and burned off three spots without telling me what he was about to do and without my permission. I received no aftercare instructions and one got infected. I am a red head and didn't discuss what measures I should take with my fair skin. The intern with him looked horrified.

The heavy set lady that checks me out each time is NASTY , RUDE. This past week was my latest appointment and she couldnt have been more rude. It's almost like I am bothering her by bringing her my check out slip. I WILL NOT RETURN as long as she is working there!

He came in and told my 10 yr old daughter that the discolored skin on her lip was vitiligo. No Lap test no biopsy, ridiculous! Of course, I knew he was clueless! It was from a sun burn!! Took years to fill back in! But it is almost gone! So glad I didn't put the steroid cream he prescribed on her lip for No REASON!

I was not only a repeat patient, but I also had referred others that have had successful results and courteous service in a sterile environment. Thanks Dr. Walker and staff. APRIL NORRIS

I have gone to Dr. Walker several times over the years and recently took my teenage daughter to him. He has always been very nice to me and solved my problems. He gave my daughter samples and they cleared her up so we did not have to get the prescriptions filled. He told us what was wrong and chit chatted with us on other topics. He was personable and friendly. His staff was nice, his office clean and we only waited about 15 minutes to get back to see him. Personally, I prefer a doctor who handles things quickly and gets you in and out. So many people want to ask stupid questions and tell their whole life story. I have no complaints about Dr. Walker and I never have over the many years that he had treated me. I would not go to someone else because Dr. Walker is good at what he does.

*In response to 10-11-08* My rating is 11-11-08. I am an African American just like him. I think that you are the one who cannot put ethnicity aside. If we are going to Dr. Walker we all have one common goal and I do not think any of us walked out the door because of his ethnicity. There are similar complaints listed by other people than you. No one says he is a bad person. Our complaint is that he does not take TIME with his patients. I see why you have been such a wonderful patient to him. Your interpersonal skills are as bad as his. Also, regardless of his ethnicity, do any of us know where he was born?? Not only does the country we are raised in shape who we are, but also states even in the US! Still, I think it is pretty universal to look at people or for a doctor to actually examine a problem rather than walk through the door writing a prescription. Next time do us a favor. When you want to say something, DON'T.

I have visited Dr. Walker approx. 3 times and have spent less than 10 TOTAL minutes in his company. The staff moves pretty quickly, although they do not make an effort to connect to new or old patients. Dr. Walker glanced at me the first visit, wrote out a prescription and left. In less than 2 minutes I was evaluated and given treatment! He did not ask background questions. Which maybe he should have as 3 years later I found out I have PCOS, not adult acne. I can say however that the medications he gave me did work. I went back about 6 months later for an update for blackheads and blemishes. He again glanced at me and started writing. I was determined to make him stay so I expressed improvements I would like to see. Instead of responding he wrote out a third prescription and said see you in a year!!! WHAT?! I said you gave me 90 prescriptions. He said just call in for a refill. If you only want medication and a doctor who is unconcerned with PEOPLE, this is the man for you.

I found him to be too quick and somewhat impatient. The amount of time between a first visit and a procedure was too long. The procedure was quick, cold and rushed. I had stitches that they failed to tell me that I had to come back and have removed. With such a small incision, I wonder why dissolving stitches would not have worked as I had from previous doctor. I feel a simple visit is stretched to many just for the money. I have not been back. Two different times was very disappointed and concerned. I was billed once for a copay that I paid the day I was there.
