Stunned to read some of the negatives. He's my third doctor in Kamloops and has been absolutely wonderful. Listens, answers questions, explains everything. Two of my children also see him and he's been great with them, including one who has been quite ill and frightened. Gorman has been super with him.

Very good listener; treats the whole patient and has shown compassion many times. Wait times are down considerably. Great with kids.I will miss him. Heard he is moving to Kamloops in the spring.

thank God i have a new doctor!!!!!! No more waiting for hours in the tiny cramped office because he was always soooo over booked. i will not miss dealing with this unempathetic GP!! Recently my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness and this doctor showed no kindness and made the families difficult situation ten times worse with his negative comments and attitude!! I believe in Karma and it will bite u back!!!!!!!!!!

I was went to him for years with the same symptoms which I now know are classic hyperthyroid disease and graves disease. Thank god I moved away because the condition got so bad that I ended up in the hospital and the endocrinologist said I was the sickest thyroid patient he had dealt with in 40 years. He also was misdiagnosed me when I was sick for a year and a half. I was sent to a pychiatrist and told I would never work again. It turned out I had a claustridium infection that was caused from antibiotics that he had perscribed. This is an infection in the stomach and toxins are produced that attack your body. My skin had turned yellow and he told me I was eating too many carrots. He sent me to several specialists who agreed with his diagnosis. He had a locum working for him that I saw several times in the year who truly believed I was sick and sent me for a stool sample. I was cured with Vancomycin in 2 weeks but the lingering after effects of bowel pain lasted for years.

I wish he was my doctor. While other doctors try to tell me that the asthma is all in my head because I dont have all of the "text book symptoms".He agreed that it was.In emergency. He acknowledged that not all asthma cases follow text book rules. He actually had the sence to try different meds while my own doctor does nothing. He was very kind.

Went to Gorman for years concerning unexplained weight gain, fatigue, dry skin, etc.. All I got was to eat less and exercise more. I would explain I was not eating heavily and had absolutely no energy at end of the day to use for exercise, would tell him my daily diet, he basically would tell me I was lying. Then I discovered growths in my neck, which were determined to be on my thyroid, put on thyroid pills, sent to a surgeon and had to have my thyroid removed. After surgery, my levels were being monitored, but were high and had to fight with Gorman to have medication increased. When he would not raise levels for me to achieve active life style, I changed doctors. She immediately increased my medication, monitored levels and got me in line. Since then, my weight has reduced, fatigue is gone and dry skin corrected. All my symptoms were prime thyroid triggers and he never got it, and when he did was unwilling to work for me to have premium health. I wouldn't put my health trust in him.

Was in a serious car accident, and unable to move my neck for months, had shoulder injuries and muscle damage down my back. Orginally went to him the day of the accident, very sore, but not in bad shape. Next morning the shock had worn off. I was unable to move my head, and was in so much pain was almost in tears. He didn't think there was anything wrong and refused to help. I went to physio for 8 months. They could trace the damage in my body, asked for a specific xray and Gorman refused to order it. That is 10 years ago and I still have problems, and during massage, they are able to determine from internal scarring the range of muscle damage that occurred. But stupidly I stayed with him for years. In all my dealings felt rushed and as if he did not really care. Have changed to a new doctore and was best thing I ever did nor overall health. I would not recommend him as a doctor for anyone that is not in perfect health. If I had something serious would be afraid he would not care
