There are serious problems with the reception desk. It is impossible to get through to make an appointment. I'm trying to get an appointment for my partner who can't wait on hold all day as he's at work. You're asked not to leave voice-mail messages, because "they will to be returned"!! The best way to get care from this GP is to never need it, apparently.

I have always had a great experience with Dr Harvey and the receptionist, Katie. They are both very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Whenever I need an appointment, Katie makes sure to get me in day of. Recently, my 8 month old was having difficulties, and Katie offered advice over the phone which has helped her out tremendously. Dr Harvey also referred us to a specialist. I really appreciate that he does not hesitate to give referrals if he feels we need a specialist or if I ask for one.

I've suffered with asthma for many years without any baseline testing. Finally bypassed Dr. Harvey through the ER to see a specialist. I was diagnosed with COPD and my medications switched. Life adequately improved since. Harvey always said "It's asthma and nothing more can be done".

Dr Harvey has been my doctor since he took over for Dr Dacre years ago. He has always taken care of me very well, been attentive, caring and has a sense of humour. I had a very high risk pregnancy and he was wonderful the entire time and has managed my care very well since my child’s birth. I can not recommend Dr Harvey enough! I will never switch doctors. Katie is amazing as well. They both take care of all my medical needs and concerns.

Should not be allowed to practise. Only interested in how quickly he can get patients in and out of his office to collect OHIP. Not interested in listening to his patients at all.

I love my doctor I feel very comfortable with him he has been my doctor since he took over for dr dacre.
He knows me so well he takes time for me with each visit I never feel rushed!!! he has pushed me in the right direction for my major headache issues and I’m feel so much better! It took some time but he never gave up!
I’m thankful for dr Harvey!
And kaytee ( receptionist) is awesome too!!

Dr Harvey kept dismissing my mother's complaints about abdominal pain. He refused to send her to s specialist and kept telling her it was a bladder infection. Finally the RECEPTIONIST told her there was nothing else they could do for her and she'd have to go TK the hospital instead. She did, and they found a massive clot in her liver. Then my uncle was ignored repeatedly until he was too weak to mow the grass. He had lung cancer and died less than a year later. I don't know how he's still practising!!

He’s a very nice man and addresses concerns I have. Always easy to get an appointment and Kaytee is always very helpful with prescription stuff. I suffer anxiety and have to prep what I want to say to him ahead of the appointment bc he does seem in a rush and I want to make sure I’m heard or I get flustered. Also prefer him not doing my Pap tests as he’s not very gentle or comforting, also as a larger woman I find it difficult to “heels together and drop knees” when the skinny exam table is right up against the wall....last time I had a pap done he just shoved the speculem inside of me and I could hardly sit for 3 days after from bruising and bleeding. Although uncomfortable, I still rate him high as her has been wonderful to me with everything else and has no issue referring me to a specialist for my Pap tests and fertility issues. I just wish he would let me fully explain why I’m there to see him and express everything before he’s jumping up to get print outs and prescriptions etc.
