The following events occurred some time ago, but my discovery of this website encouraged me to document them. Gregory used to practice in Chatham, NY. i visited him because of a small lesion on my forehead which was beginning to cause pain and for a mole on my torso. The lesion resulted in almost two years of treatment, each occasion coming with a diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma and a shot of nitrogen to freeze it away. The lesion kept returning and worsening. Meanwhile, the mole required a second appointment. The first one was taken up with Gregory trying to push his cosmetic products "created especially for him locally." When i returned for the mole, the PA gave me local anesthesia. Gregory came in, said not a word to me, grabbed a tool, cut out the mole - removing a lot more than seemed to be necessary - left the room in silence and left me with quite a scar. it should be added that every visit required about an hour in the waiting room. i typically booked what i was told was the first appointment of the day, but there were already people ahead of me. it was not unusual to be third in line, to wait to be called and suddenly see Gregory trot into the office carrying his breakfast.
Meanwhile, i decided to see a skin cancer specialist in NYC whom i knew through my business but who didn't take insurance. On my first visit, he scraped the lesion, had the biopsy done on site - something Gregory never did - diagnosed the more serious Squamous cell carcinoma, did MOHS surgery, repeated the biopsy, repeated the MOHS to get all the margins, did another biopsy, instructed me on aftercare, and sent me home healthy.
I wish Gregory a lot of luck pushing his products and that the Board of Regents would take his license away, leaving him to sell his crap on a cable shopping channel.

Long story short. My father was sick, swore he had lyme disease. Went in, and was blown off by PA then MD. Went home...Came back a few days later, and was told the first assessment was correct and issued steroids. Finally, he went to primary, and was diagnosed w lyme disease. Being in the health industry myself, and having this be a loved one who was treated, both sickens me, and pisses me off. People like this shouldn't be treating people. For the two seconds it would have taken these bums to give him a dose of medicine, they allowed him to go on for several weeks, and potentially forever had he not taken the initiative to seek a second opinion...You guys suck.

The acne on my face was acting up and my primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Gregory. The wait was 15 mins but was worth it. He was very nice and informative. His treatment options were very helpful in reducing my acne just in time for my wedding in two weeks.

For just a 15 min visit , and the Doctor did not even see me. The Nurse / Physician's assistant charged a Doctors fee.

absolutely horrible visit at his Schenectady office. the doctor was rude when i asked why i waited so long almost an hour and a half in a waiting room and 45 minutes in a little patient room with no ventilation. he was the rudest imoral man ive ever met making jokes about my condition. I will never go back and plan on turning him in to the Board.

Had a great visit.yes a long wait but received a very in depth skin exam for skin care. And was made aware of the dose and don't of sun exposure. Their nursing staff made me and my child very at ease there. I saw a pa there who was amazing, I would refer this office over and over again. Just not wild about the location. Ill be back there in 5 months for my annual.

I brought my infant son her for a case of eczema. Dr. Gregory's nurse practitioner prescribed cream that was too strong and burnt my son's face as deemed by his NEW dermatologist 3 months later. Upon recheck my son's face looked like that of a burn victim. Dr. and practitioner ordered several test including a skin biopsy which left 2 scars on my son's arm and bloodwork to "test" for rare disorders because neither had "ever seen" a rash like my son's. Yes, they didn't recognize an adverse reaction to the meds they prescribed. Long story short they tried diagnosing my son with a rare disorder that was completely bogus because I did my own research and found out that it must come from antibodies in the mother of which I DO NOT have (yes, I had to undergo bloodwork too). Neither the Dr. or pratitoner knew this and when confronted by me hedged around the diagnosis. After this conversation we left his practice and saw the new dermatologist who had my son's eczema cleared up in one week.

This doctor is such a rip-off. Charged my insurance co. a rediculous price to just cut my nail and called it surgery! Wanted me to go on medication for for 90 days a fungus I did not have! He should not be practicing.

Went for a mole check. Was never given a skin cancer screening. The doctor looked at it for about 2 seconds, asked me no questions that were skin cancer related and then told me I would have to come back to have the mole removed. I also had one pimple that he gave me cream for (without my asking). I later tried the cream and it gave me a huge rash without resulting in noticable effects to the pimple. He was rude, abrupt and I will never return to his office. I never even returned to find out the results of the mole removal, which the staff refused to give me over the phone - even after I told them I would never return to due to the horrible service.
