Biography
Charles Kwak, M.D., is a diplomateof the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.Dr. Kwak grew up in Queens andattended Hunter College High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from HarvardUniversity and medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. Dr. Kwak completedhis internal medicine internship at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island, and hisdermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.Dr. Kwak has broad experiencetreating a diverse patient population. Over the better part of two decades, hehas been a board-certified practicing dermatologist in various clinical settings from private practice to resident teaching clinics to multi-specialty healthcare systems.His passion is the integralrole the skin plays in the health, homeostasis, and physical well-being of the individual,and his motivation is the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges posedby each patient.Furthermore, Dr.Kwak has been a long-standing patient advocate for the underserved patient population within the community,including patients with developmental disabilities.Dr Kwak currently sees patientsin our Elmhurst office from 8 am - 5 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. He also works those hours every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
