I have had two prior nasal/sinus surgeries so I can say I have experience when it comes to ENT surgeries/clinics. This is my third and I just had my surgery with Dr.Mcallion a couple of days ago to get my septum adjusted, my terbides reduced and my sinus entry ways enlarged. My family doctor gave great recommendations for Dr.Mcallion and I have to agree. He will give you all his time to answer questions and explain all the details. He called me a few hours after the surgery at home to check up on me which was very nice of him especially since I was feeling vulnerable and had many questions. Like other reviewers have stated, he sends in the prescription electronically so its ready for you before you arrive at the pharmacy. He was very gentle and soft spoken. I am glad to have him as my doctor.

Dr. McCallion came in. He reminded me of a monkey. When he opened his mouth and began to speak, I suddenly felt like I was transported into a B-rated movie that was something like Little Shop of Horrors. I should have ran!! After Enduring this pointless exam for a min. I decided to volunteer my recent cancer history. (You would think that writing it down in the Patient Medical History during the registration process would have been enough.)He than had his immediate diagnosis.. "My Symptoms were caused by the Radioactive Iodine that was given to me post Surgery." I opted out of the normal protocol and chose not to have the RAI done. I told him about all of my research about my type of cancer (Papillary Carcinoma) and how it is unaffected by that procedure and how my regular MD agreed. He suddenly became a expert in oncology, and proceeded to lecture me. I just Smiled and decided that the Nodule in my throat cheek and tongue could be examined by someone else. If you value your life run.

Horrible 'bedside' manner. Seems grumpy and irritable. Not compassionate at all.

AFTER CONSULTING WITH DR. MCCALLION REGARDING MY CONSISTENT DRY MOUTH, I WAS TOLD BY HIM THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER I ACCIDENTLY CAME ACCROSS AN ARTICLE, ON THE INTERNET, ABOUT ORAL INFECTIONS. I HAD SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS OF ONE OF THE TYPES OF ORAL INFECTIONS DISCUSSED IN THE ARTICLE, SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. MCCALLION. I WAS ARROGANTLY TOLD THAT I DID NOT HAVE THAT TYPE OF INFECTION, BUT I INSISTED ON A TEST FOR THAT TYPE OF INFECTION, AND DR. MCCALLION RELUCTANTLY AGREED. HE CALLED ME A WEEK LATER AND ADMITTED I DID HAVE THAT TYPE INFECTION. WHY DO I NEED A DOCTOR WHEN I DIAGNOSE MY ON ILLNESS?

Seemed like he did not want to give detailed explanations----what's with that? I would not not recommend this ENT

I felt very rushed as he seemed eager to get rid of me. It was difficult to get explanations from him. He was unable to explain one of my symptoms, which another ENT explained quickly when asked.

Very unfriendly and ARROGANT. Not on time. Waiting time took longer than actual consultation. One of the worst Doctors (in caring sense).
