This doctor didn't even bother to have a conversation with me just marched into the examining room and started barking instructions. She freaked out when she found a problem, and was only marginally more in control after leaving the room and coming back. At her return it was obvious she had spoken to someone who had calmed her down, and suddenly the diagnosis was not nearly so dire! She was unable to clearly explain her treatment plan, and became tense and authoritarian when asked questions and whether there were any alternatives. She was ham fisted in performing an in office procedure, and I certainly would not let her operate on me.

Dr. Morrissey made me feel VERY comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and took the time out to actually find out what was wrong with me. I would recommend her to every woman!!!!

Toni Morrissey is one of the best doctors I have been to. While I am surprised to see that people have given her negative comments, I slightly see how she can come off as a bit lacking in the proper bedside manner department. That said, she is the only doctor that actually read my chart at referred me to an oncologist immediately while my primary doctor kept telling me my symptoms were "normal" She followed through and checked in on me- which no doctor has done- and made sure that I went to every oncology appointment that was made. In fact, when it showed up on her end that I had missed an appointment she called to remind me how important going was. Anyway, long story short, without her my ovarian cancer would have been left untreated. While she may not be the most warm and fuzzy doctor on the planet- if you want someone who is thorough and competent and great at what they do- she is the doctor to see. Personally, I choose that over nice and sweet any day.

She delivered my baby in 2013. I would absolutely NOT recommend this doctor! She rushes through appointments & expects you to voice your concerns to the nurse. I didn't feel like she cared much for me as a patient and she could do a much better job of listening to her patients. By far the worst OBGYN I have seen!

I have never seen a doctor that simply is so defensive and does not want to listen to their patient. She has insisted on us going to only a certain ultrasound facility even though other ultrasound facilities that charges less would do. She argued with my wife on the phone and scolded her over why she should go to only the facility she recommended. Also, once they found out my wife's blood sugar was on close to borderline range (even though she does not have diabetes), they have called us everyday and harassed us that we need to come in and have a blood glucose tolerance test done. She is one of the worst doctors I have seen in my life.A doctor who doesn't listen to their patient is not worth anything.

I cannot understand why anyone would give this doctor a high rating. I have been to many doctors in my life and have never walked out completely speechless. She is extremely cold, defensive, and seems to not really care about you as a human. My first visit, she didnt even want to know anything about my life, jumped straight into an ultrasound, then attempted to answer my questions in an aggressive manner. I work in an extremely aggressive profession and have this opinion. The word care never occurred to this doctor. She was rushing to get us out of there as soon as possible. Then she told me that she would probably not be available to deliver my baby because she would be on vacation. This I understand but the aggressive, defensive manner she delivered the message was appalling. My husband and I couldnt wait to run out of there. She should work on wall street instead. Glad I found another doctor who is amazing.

She's is the best for perimenoupause! After struggling years with anxiety, amd a brief episode of non-stop bleeding, she gave me the proper medication -- after the first month I felt great, after two months I felt even better -- therefore decreasing the medication, yet feeling better than I ever had -- no other doctor was able to figure out my problems -- she figured it out in the first visit! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. MORRISSEY -- she shows true interst and takes all the time you need for questions. She took a lot of fears away from me and brought me peace that I didnt have in 10 years!

Dr. Morrissey is a wonderful doctor. Her staff is friendly and professional, the wait time is the shortest I've ever encountered at a doctor's office, and I always know I am going to get a straight answer from her. She is easy to talk to, and doesn't hesitate to give you the sometimes unpleasant truth, but in a way that you can work with. I don't feel uptight and nervous with her like I do with other doctors. On my first appointment, she very graciously took much extra time than was allotted when she realized what I needed done. She calls at home to follow up on procedures and returns calls quickly. I am so lucky to have been referred to her.

I don't normally write reviews on websites, but in Dr. Morrissey's case, I really wanted to. I went to Dr. Morrissey for a 2nd opinion after being diagnosed with a "blighted ovum". The first thing that impressed me about her practice was the receptionist (Yolanda) -- she was professional, clear, concise, and knowledgeable. Same thing about the nurse who took my vitals -- professional, knowledgeable, etc. Then I met Dr. Morrissey, who can seem a bit blunt and to-the-point to some. But what really impressed me was Dr. Morrissey's follow-up. During my visit, she said she needed to check some things (like what's my blood type, did I have the chickenpox vaccine, and a few other items) and the very next day, she called my home phone and my cell phone with the answers, then followed up with more info the next day! Dr. Morrissey herself called me to tell me when my surgery was being scheduled, then called me back a few days later to tell me the time was moved up! Excellent follow-up!
