Dr. Lewis is a very knowledgeable doctor. Yes, you can get stuck waiting to see him, but it is well worth your time. I have been a long time patient of his. I credit the quality of life that I now have to him. If it weren’t for Dr. Lewis sticking by my side I don’t know where I would be today. He has treated me with nothing but kindness and caring. I have always left his office with a complete understanding of the procedures that we have done. When I have needed him to fill out papers for FMLA, Disabilty, etc. he has completed them with no questions. I have a complex pain case and he has sent me to see other doctors for second and third opinions. I can tell you after seeing other doctors he is very well versed and knows what he is talking about. I have heard people say that he is cocky. I understand where some might get that, but I don’t agree at all! Accept his knowledge as him knowing what he is talking about. If you are going to him seeking medications don’t waste his time or the time of his real patients!

This Dr is in the wrong field and perhaps he should be under the care of a doctor of another sort, if you get my meaning. I have experienced such behavior from a Dr, he should be considered s liability and a danger to his patients. He can't seem to put aside his own personal and political feelings when treating patients. He is unfit rude crude has no bedside manners he is the type that would disagree that the world is round. I suggest that people bypass complaining to the hospital and go right to the state medical board after all the reviews I have read about this man something needs to be done.

After a 45 min wait in the lobby, he came into the room 55 mins later. Without even introducing himself, his first line was " I hate addicts & I hate treating addicts, I'm not dealing drugs. If that's why you are here, don't waste my time". Then he gave me a brochure for a neuro-stimulator implant and referred me to see their psychiatrist for an evaluation. If he had bothered to read my chart he would have known that I do not suffer from neuropathic pain & the neuro-stimulator would not be effective. I have had trigger point injections, nerve blocks, facet injections and a TENS unit. If I was just a 'pill seeker'& I know some people are, I would not have been subjecting myself to so many procedures, some of them torturous for 5 yrs. He is rude, arrogant, unkempt and not worthy to be called a doctor. He is an anesthesiologist, not an orthopedic or neuro surgeon and should NOT be treating people with spinal pain and conditions.

He is not a good or caring doctor. He is from Texas. If an incident happens in his care in the office, he will not help you. He should not be able to practice medicine.

He and his PA are rushed and the practice is in multiple locations They are not forthcoming with information on the procedures they they do and God forbid you need forms signed for anything. If you plan on using your AFLAC etc insurance ...he doesnt sign disability insurance forms. He does not respond in a timely manner to anything.
