I came in because I had a huge cystic pimple on my nose. She gave me a cortisone shot on my nose and brought out an armload of products and gave a sales pitch. I told her I was already following a regimen and declined to buy any of her products. It seemed like the instant I refused to buy her products she stopped caring and became annoyed. She even offered me to bring in my products and compare them with her line. When I declined to do that she basically said ‘we are done here’ and told me to leave. I asked her what my follow up instructions were and she said, “If you’re not going to use my product what more can I do for you?” It is safe to say I did not go back. All she does is try to sell you her products and when you don’t bite, she does not care about you anymore. I went home and Googled what to do about my cyst and has healed since.

Do not go to this doctor!! I went for acne treatment and all she did was push me to buy her own products. She is not a doctor, she is a businesswoman trying to get your money! A few months after my appointment with her, she even charged me with products and procedures that I didn't even purchase!

you pay $98 for basic checkup. I went today with inflamed rash on multiple areas of my body, she seems intelligent and knew what exactly what I needed plus other extra unnessassary body creams, washes unless you don't need, unless you don't have any at home or know what to buy, I found she has her own products white bottled named "Sumala" they added up plus antibiotics to be $145. You have to choose which ones you think you need. The only things I really needed from today's visit was the 2 betamethasone valerate ointment, antibiotics and night inch preventive pills, I don't like her personality, she isn't really friendly and focus mainly on your problems not the type to devlope an patient doctor type, more business. I felt it was a bit of a rushed visit and I would not return to her again.

Be careful if going to this doctor. She tries to sell you her products without considering if they will work on your skin.

I think Dr. Sumala Lo she is good dermatologist who knows her stuffs. I took a family member in for skin infection and she was able to diagnose it right away and prescribed medicine and cured it. However, you are correct if you go in and she will try to sell you her own personal products, which I think is not good, and she did tried to sell me her skin products for my skin and I know better and did not buy it, since I always double check all meds that any doctors prescribe to me and look it up online and research on google with any skin diagnosis anyh doctor prescribe. I think with any doctors you need to use your own instincts and ask for different doctors opinions for same diagnosis and a good honest doctor is hard to find these days. If a doctor tries to push their own product on the patients when it is not needed, I would question that honesty and integrity of that doctor. So far my own personal experiences has been this doctor knows her materials and can diagnoses correctly

HORRIBLE!!! She doesnt even let you talk or ask questions. She thinks that everything that she says is correct and that you know nothing. THen pushes you to buy a bunch of her products that dont work and pretty much cheap knock-offs of stuff you can get at wal-mart or something. She didnt even diagnose my problem.

I wish I found her other name before I went to see her, her aka is "Dr. Sumala Lo" which you can find other reviews on (FYI: ALL BAD) I went to her yesterday in hopes that she would help treat my acne. Instead I got totally ripped off, spending $120 on her products that she kept pushing on me throughout my entire visit. This was after I refused to buy the other products that she presented to me, then she says "You pick whatever you want to use" I'm sorry, but WTF!?! you're the doctor! you tell me what I need to use!! So I told her, I want a prescription that my insurance would cover, but she continued to tell me that there was no prescription that would help me, her products were what I need. She kept telling me to come back to get my pimples removed for an additional $75. I WILL NOT COME BACK, I'd rather go outside my PPO and find a genuine dermatologist that actually cares about me and not my money.

First of all, I thought Dr.Lo was a good doctor, because she graduated from Harvard. But turn out to be that she is not a sincere doctor. She just want to promote her products to me through out the entire office visit. After she exam my skin, she told me I needed all these facial products which cost almost $1000 worth.(wth???)I didn't end up buying everything. I went home and tried out the products for a month, my skin did not improve at all! I'm never ever going back to her again! She's not a good doctor, she just want MONEY!!!

She cheated me out at least $1000 over different visits. She threatens and attacks me for not listening to her advice. She doesn't care for patients as when she did her acne surgery more bumps came out the next day. Her sunscreen is so oily it causes more break outs. She cheats and lies and doesn't help my acne at all!!!
