I have to totally agree with the other poster, the receptionist is extremely rude. I called for an appointment and didn't hear anything for 5 days. When I called back and finally got through to the receptionist she said "The message said you'll get a return call within the week, it's only been 5 days" Dr. Fogel is nice enough and very helpful, but I'm thinking of changing because of the difficulty to get through to the office and the rudeness of the receptionist.

Surprised to see a rating of 4 for punctuality. You WILL wait at least an hour after your scheduled appointment before you are even called into an exam room. Then you wait more. Horrible. As if MY time is less valuable than his.

Dr. Fogel listened well enough, but his receptionist is rude as the Bronx sewer. Fogel's bio indicates he's from Queens, suggesting that her existence in Albany is (upstate New York is much different) is a favor to somebody. Her phone tree makes National Greed's seem cordial! Dial "0" and it's ignored, dialing an option won't get you a human either, most of the time. She'll return a message, if she feels like it, and her tone has no place outside of her home sewer. If you are persistent and patient, you may get her to pick up eventually, but she'll put you on hold before you can say a word! Walk in for a scheduled appointment, and she won't acknowledge, ignoring you altogether for at least a minute while not helping anyone else, not even on the phone! On the floor of an upstate Walmart, at lower pay, she would soon be fired - therefore medical consumers should not tolerate this either. There's no cure for rudeness, but a nuke to it's known spawning areas may control it's spread.
