Very nice man and explains things easily. Very easy to talk to and very respectful. Had seen his partner before at the office and that doctor was a rude jerk and made inappropriate comments. Dr P is very professional and glad I made am appointment with him.

Dr Prethus is an exceptional physician. I had suffered with pelvic pain for months going to other doctors to figure out what was going on and how to fix it. Within two visits Dr Presthus had figured out definitively what was causing me so much pain, and fixed it. Not only that but he has incredibly good bedside manner, is extremely compassionate, and was personally available on the phone when there were serious concerns. I can honestly say that he gave me my health back. I would recommend him extremely highly, particularly to anyone with issues that are beyond a run-of-the-mill OBGYN.

The last 12 months have been HORRIBLE for myself, family, and friends!!! I had been with my doc for 15 years. With a relationship that long I thought I could trust him. He did 2 ablations and a invasive hysterectomy all in under 2.5 months. I trusted him and didn't question the timing. I have been in horrible pain for quite some time and he kept pushing me off than when I seeked a different opinion with his partner, he called me and said I need to schedule a pre-op with him, that is when I started researching gyno's. I was very skeptical but made an appointment with Dr. Presthus and what a breath of fresh air. Dr. Presthus was/is very understanding of the road I have been on and is nothing short of the BEST doctor I have EVER met. He is working with me right now getting my main issue under control (which does NOT require surgery). I feel so blessed to have found him and would highly recommend him ,especially as a 2nd opinion before letting a doc be knife happy with you! THANK YOU DR. P

If you are looking for a Doc with knowledge, experience and understanding, this is the Doc for you. I am 38 and had been having difficulty getting anyone to pay attention to me. Dr. Presthus did not condscend to me agreed that I needed the hysterectomy I requested. My previous physician refused. Thank god he did. It turns out that I have endometrial stromal sarcoma. He is an outstanding surgeon (minimally invasive) AND he cared enough to set me up with another superior physician to deal with my cancer and subsequent surgery. He cares about his patients and their outcomes. I had lost faith in physicians and quite frankly never have cared for doctors in general. Dr. Presthus changed that for me. I would gladly recommend him to my friends, family and anyone reading this rating. THANK YOU Dr. Presthus. You helped save my life, literally!

He was very knowledgeable and personable. I had been having issues with fibroids, the other two doctors I consulted wanted to do invasive surgery. One made reference to cutting me open straight down the middle much like a fish. I knew that in 2004 this surgery didn't need to be that invasive and was persistent in my search to find out what options were available. I was very relieved to find him. I was not too thrilled about the other options or having plastic put into my system either to block the flow to the fibroids. Just didn't seem right to me. He is a very kind man and knows what he is talking about. Not only did I have my fibroids removed laparoscopically, I also had a hysterectomy at the same time. It wasn't really an option but it was a lot of work considering how much matter needs to exit your body and only via very small inscisions. I highly recommmend him and hope this post will help many others make the correct choice. I would imagine his partners are equally qualified.
