Doctor was very impatient and rude when asking questions. I had twice the most painful pap smear exam. For my third time I went to get check and never got my results. I had to called her for it. After months I lost the results so I called for copies and she told me she couldn't gave me no copies.

I visited this doctor for 3 times , she was so impatient, and even yelled at me after I asked her 3 questions. Also I waited at least 45 min each time just to get her 10 minutes of talking! Very bad experience!

My experience with this doctor was very good in the beginning. She asks questions during the exam but does not listen to the answers. She does not seem to care about personal requests or anything. I have found her bedside manner to be poor. Also, while you may wait in the waiting room for a short period of time I've waited in the exam room for her for more than 30 mins. That just builds up an anxiety I already have with visiting this doctor. I would not recommend her.

I will have to say I'm a little shocked with these negative comments towards this doctor considering I have been recommended to her by one of my co-workers which indeed is White and had nothing but positive things to say about her. But I guess everyone has their own opinion to their experience & I can only speak for myself. My first visit with Deluna was as any visit to a new OBGYN because it's just a personal visit obviously. I was diagnosed with having a Dermoid Cyst located on my right ovary. I was told by my previous practice I needed to see a specialist for this issue because they were not able to take further matters regarding this problem. At this time I was upset I needed to find a new OBGYN who can help me out & give me as much information as possible. I then ask my coworker and she referred me to Deluna office. The place was small but comfortable and when I met with her, I didn't feel no negative vibes from her at all which is why I'm a little shock with these comments. She explain to me what seem to be the issue from my previous test results I brought to her & what steps needed to be taken and explain what type of cyst I had even with showing me pictures and all. Her information was very valid and to the point & I left her office knowing I was dealing with someone who knew her stuff for the most part. She told me the procedure she does and if I didn't want to go with her procedure she recommended 3 other doctors who can help me as well which was good because there was no pressure in choosing her to remove my cyst from my ovary. All my appointments I made with her have never been cancel or me waiting an hour to be seen by her as well. When I made my decision on her being my surgeon doctor for my procedure the dates for surgery were book quickly and in enough time for me to leave from work. The surgery went great and she visited me two times at the hospital with such care and also more information on how to treat myself after surgery. When I was release from the hospital I had an appointment the following week for a checkup and again she was very formal with everything. Day 3 I felt a 100% and was actually ready to return to work the following week but she did deny me explaining she felt it was too soon for my return. Overall, I would recommend her to anyone because my experience was really good and I felt very comfortable with her. I feel bad others didn't have such great experience but I guess to each to own I feel. Hope this helps out a bit. =)

I experienced egregious disrespect, poor and hostile communication, rude and unprofessional demeanor, infection, and callous, even brutal treatment from Dr. Mirna Guerra-DeLuna, whom I ended up with purely for insurance reasons and because I was too naive to know of better options during my first pregnancy. This deplorable excuse for a doctor did not deign to use her hands to help ease my firstborn's delivery, but stuck a vacuum device to the top of his head and did so with such lack of care that she pulled the skin apart from his skull, resulting in a significant hematoma. When that didn't work, she dug her knife deep into my buttocks for a brutal episiotomy which resulted in a severe and excruciating abscess, which she later expressed in her office without proper sedation. You could hear me scream three blocks away, as it was pain beyond my wildest imagination. However, most amazingly, I discovered some years later that DeLuna has been the beloved and trusted doctor of my Chinese friend and other Asian ladies in the community, whom she treats with utmost respect and care. While I cannot know for sure that race is an issue, the contrast between how she treated me (and another white woman I later befriended in the community), and how she treats my Chinese friend is so extreme that it has caused me to wonder if racial hatred provokes the brutality, or if she preys on the most gentle and least likely to push back. The white friend, a quiet young mother, left DeLuna's practice after experiencing neglect and emotional abuse during hospitalization for dehydration during a pregnancy. DeLuna left her alone for hours, never bothering to explain that this young woman was in the process of losing her baby, and leaving her to figure it out for herself, even berating her for crying. Anyone who makes a clear choice to treat patients with such utter lack of humanity does not belong in this profession. Any doctor who feels that only women and children of her own race deserve respect and care should go back to where she came from. There are some great ob/gyns in our area. Do yourself a favor and pick one who has a track record of professional excellence.

I have had such bad experiences with this doctor that I had to switxh doctors. She is rude, does not take time to answer questions, and very unprofessional. During the pap smear she was so ROUGH it was horrible I was crying. She told me she would have to use a bigger thing for the pap smear if I didn't calm down! She also took blood from me after basically forcing me. I told her there is one lab that can successfully get my veins..after arguing for 15 Mins she told me she would do it. Long story short- she tried 3 times and didn't get it!I was bleeding crying and she did not apolgize. She also billed me for her sticking needles carelessly into my arm. She told me I would need to get a procedure right away.. I got a second opinion and that was not true. She will try to get you to have procedures in her office so she can bill you for it. I can go on and on about why you should not go here. She is cold, rude, very rough and has an attitude. The only reason she got more than one star is because her staff is friendly..and they have goodmagazines. ps- they will charge you $75 if you want your medical records

I haven't had a bad experience with this doctor. I was surprised about some of these comments, but people tend to write reviews only if something is really good or really bad to them. Several of my friends have been going to her for years too.

Today I'm 31 weeks and after explaining to the doctor how rude her staff was towards me she told me to find another doctor. I explained that I was to far in my pregnancy to switch she then went on to tell me "we'll once your water breaks go to any hospital" I felt so disrespected and hurt I thought it was important for her to know how her staff are treating patients but she didn't care, she's rude nasty with me. In the 5 months I've been seeing her she has never measured my stomach. I asked her if she can measure my stomach she went on to say she did it all the times I was there I asked her to let me see on my chart and she wouldn't let me. I know for sure she never measured me. It was a horrible experience and I was so upset and crying so much she told me to leave her office because she didn't want to help me and she couldnt do anything for me. Her receptionist went on yelling at me and telling me to get out the office lucky I found a doctor same day! Don't go to her not a good thing
