Dr. Karen Briggs is a people person. She engages with her parents like a family friend. I enjoy my visits with her and the staff. They treat me with kindness and understanding.

would not advise seeing this doctor FOR ANYTHING. I am now blind in my left eye after her not being able to recognize a central retina ocllusion, laid in hospital for 4 days without one follow-up visit

Dr. Briggs treats me for Glaucoma. She is extremely thorough and personable. I am amazed that with all the patients she has, she remembers detailed information about you (I see her twice a year) and asks you how you are doing with specific issues that you may have mentioned to her in your prior visit. Her staff is very capable, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Your wait time is always within 15 minutes of your appt and her ophthalmology assistants are competent and friendly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for more than an optometrist as she specializes in conditions and diseases of the eye that normal eye doctors are not experienced in. She's very very good!!!
