Dr. Alveraz is a poor Doctor without any knowledge. I went in for a simple Hemorrhoid procdure which in turn almost cost me my life!!! I had to have 3 operations in 1 1/2 years because of poor diagnosis.

Dr. Alverez removed my gall bladder with no problem - swift and no infection. He listened to me, ordered more tests and was very comforting. He came in several times to reassure me while I was waiting for surgery.

My dad was to go for surgery, and went through 3 days of ememas and liquid diets, which is taxing for an old person, only to be told, just minutes before surgery that it has been canceled, literally right before being put under. The nurses were in shock as well. The doctor failed to look at the CT scan that indicated somthing terminal and would no longer be needing the surgery. He look at the CT scan only till minutes before the surgery? My dad had done the CT scan 3 weeks before. Would you want this person operating on you? Very unprofessional and unsypathetic, no apologies ever made.

This doctor caused my husband to go through a tremendous amount of stress. His lack of hygiene caused a seroius infection after a surgical procedure that would have cost him his life if not dealt with quickly. My husband said the floor was filthy and when some of his blood split during a surgical procedure, he did not clean it up properly at all. If you are referred to this doctor, get another referral and do not risk you life with such unsanitary conditions.
