Dr, Awadalle is truly amazing, he went with my birth plan. I never felt like he ever rush me with my appt. He is that awesome. Thank you again!

Dr Awadalla delivered by son via scheduled c-section and I had an absolutely amazing experience! He was so kind and reassuring before and during the surgery. He made me feel so comfortable and confident everything would go smoothly and it did.
He was absolutely wonderful and my incision is healing beautifully!

He is one of the most amazing Dr. I have had seen in my life. Caring, knowledgeable, helpful amazing surgeon, all around a great human being. I wish there was more doctors like him out there.

I cannot with this "doctor" anymore.
I came to him in search of help for a persistent issue, granted he did infact identify it and give me options, the follow through of what happened was AWFUL and felt like I was a science experiment.
I did not want an IUD but was persuaded into one, being told this would help and potentially stop my issues.
Within 2 days of it being put in there were CLEAR signs something was wrong, including the strings hanging OUT of the body etc.
I called the emergency help line was told to come back, when I came back to get help beyond trimming them (like he should have) I was told I'm being overly sensitive and that this is not a big deal.
There was no information given on how to best care for it, which btw for anyone who doesn't know.. you MUST check on the lengths and NEED to have follow ups to ensure your body is taking to it okay.
None of this was explained and no follow up EVER happened.
A month after install I started getting severe pain that caused my leg to go numb, I called and was very snarkily told by a receptionist that there's nothing they can do until it's been a year as your body is just adjusting.
The pain continued to get worse and at 3 months I called again and called 3 days in a row almost 20 times a day until someone FINALLY answered. (and yes I left voicemails)
At which point I was informed that he will send me for an ultra sound and to stop calling.
The ultrasound revealed issues and my family doctor called me worried saying it needs to be fixed.
I called the gynecologists', again nothing. spent a week trying to get through to be told he was away for 3 weeks.
At this point he told me "well it works for birth control so you don't have to worry" which is NOT why it was put in and was NEVER the issue at hand.
At the 10month mark I called again complaining the pain is more severe and bleeding is 10x worse.
His answer?
To put an implant in my arm, double the birth control and I'd be fine, because and I'm not joking "I know you well enough to know what you want".
This coming from a man that saw me ONCE that NEVER followed up.
I said no.
His office called and said they were waiting for me to come in.
To re-iterate. I TOLD HIM NO!!! and he did it anyways.
I have never felt so violated by a doctor in any capacity.
Not only did he never do any of what he should, he didn't listen and made it out like I was just his birth control experiment subject, he made up situations to suit his agenda.

Overall my experience was less then okay. Throughout my pregnancy I really felt like I was just tossed to the side, i was considered a high risk pregnancy and should of been seen more than 3 times (my previous pregnancy was also high risk and I was seen almost weekly in another province). Awadalla happened to be the delivering doctor on when i went into labor, I was pretty much brushed off as "women do this all the time stop complaining", thank god my baby didn't come till after he was off shift. at my 2 week check up he called me and basically just told me I should go on birth control because my husband would probably like to be intimate and didn't ask any questions on how I was doing... I bled for 9 weeks, when I called back after seeing my family doctor it was discovered by my family doctor my vaginal wall had prolapsed, I called Awadalla and was told to get a $300 kegal thing, then told my husband would also probably like that since I just had a baby everything would go back to pre-baby... Literally mortified by this doctor and how unprofessional he was. 1.5 years later I still have a prolapse vaginal wall .. NEVER again will I see or recommend this doctor.
