I scheduled a physical with Dr. Shapiro and found that she had more time to talk to me than I expected. She listened carefully, made sound recommendations, and followed up immediately regarding all of my questions. She is calm, thorough, respectful, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a female internist. It took a long time to get an appointment with Dr. Shapiro because she has very limited office hours. I was very disappointed. Dr. Shapiro did not take the time to listen to my concerns or answer my questions. I felt rushed. I felt like me coming to her office was an annoyance. She was very cold and uncaring. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. With the help of this site, I found a better, more accessible doctor.
