I suffered from a rare autoimmune disorder when I was about 8 years old and have never been the same since. She is the first doctor in a long time that took the time to listen to me and made sure to cover every base. She's intelligent, extremely friendly/easy to talk to, caring, professional, and she gets back to you very quickly. Unlike many GP's I've gone to, she covers all the bases and doesn't assume that "everything's fine" if the basic blood tests come back somewhat normal. For the first time in years I feel hopeful that she can help me find out what's really going on and that one day I'll feel like myself again.

Dr. Cohanim is a wonderful doctor! I have been in search for someone like since I moved to Chicago and have been her patient for 2 years now. I can generally get appts quickly, never wait too long for her to arrive and most importantly I do not ever feel rushed, she balances her time extremely well. Dr. Cohanim is a great listener and explains things with ease. She is prompt with returning calls and following up with test results. You can truely feel her passion for medicine, I highly recommend her! Rest assured you will have fantastic medical care.

Dr. Cohanim is helpful, knowledgeable, understanding and willing to help. She follows up and doesn't overcharge for follow-ups. She has always been on time and I've never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room or more than ten minutes after the nurse has finished. I have used her for two years, am moving a full half hour train ride away and will still use her. If you need a good General Practitioner in the Chicago area, Dr. Cohanim should be first on your list.
