PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, OR TO THE DIAMOND HEADACHE CLINIC!!!! Dr. Urban is a terrible doctor who just switches his patients from one med to another. For years, this whole clinic has been about nothing but making as much money off their patients as possible. They have no interest in making their patients better, just milking them and their insurance for as much, and as long, as possible. They're terrible about getting back to you. Their billing department doesn't have a clue and the sick patients get screwed by them to. This is not, and has not been, a reputable let alone a good clinic for over a decade and the different migraine/headache patients, organizations and associations have to know this! The doctors aren't even neurologists, they're internal medicine doctors!!!!

Dr George Urban is a very good neurologist at one of the cutting edge headache clinics in the USA. He's been my doctor for about eleven years. He does not treat with addictive substances. I came to this clinic to eliminate the possibility that I was experiencing rebound headaches from medications my former doctors was prescribing. Dr Urban is treating me for Chiari Malformation migraines. He treats a lot of patients with this particular problem. He also suffers from migraine headaches, and understands what it's like to live with pain. It's difficult to travel 300 plus miles each way twice or more a year to see Dr Urban, but when you find a good doctor for my condition you can't just "shop" for nearby doctors. I 'm thankful for this doctor.

Dr. George Urban destroyed my health and misdiagnosed me multiple times. Please DO NOT SEE HIM. I went into his care with a 6/10 (Pain scale) daily "migraines" and in other wise perfect health. I left Urbans care with blood clots, chronic daily "migraines" 9/10, loss of 90% of my vision. Only to find out a year later that I have a medical condition that any medical professional should have diagnosed (a 18 year old figured it all out). I stayed in the Diamond Clinic for over two weeks watching him do the same treatments over and over again with out results to me and the other patients. I work in the medical field and Dr. George Urban is a repulsive excuse for a doctor. I could have been permanently blind or even worse. I know how desperate I was to escape the pain, Urban was my "last hope", but do not make the same mistakes as me and other patients who get sicker and sicker as they pay thousands and thousands of dollars and waste years of time.

I had been suffering from severe, chronic headaches. He wanted to send me to the hospital and explained what they were going to do for me (he sugar coated everything). We got there and it was a scene from a scary movie. He wanted to put me on methadone (which is what they give people addicted to heroine) as well as two anti-depressants one an upper and the other a downer. After, realizing what this Diamond Headache Clinic was all about my mom and I left after being admitted into the hospital. It seems like he has the same protocol for every patient (not all patients are the same). My mom had told him that she would be staying the hospital with me and he just smiled. When we got to the hospital we were told no family member are allowed to stay over. As soon as we mentioned we were going to leave a huge guy comes in the room with a HUGE needle and tried to jab me with it...so I wouldn't be able to leave. All he cares about is money....and over medicating patients.
