ZERO professionalism....asked my mother whose sugars were up if she KNEW her family doctor's phone number. Shamed her for coming to outpatients when she was unwell. Terrible.

neglected all my daughter's diaherra, bleeding from the annus almost 40 pound weight loss, pains in stomach for almost a year. gave her immodium then laxatives. She had stage 3 T4 colon Underwent 2 surgeries. One for an ostomy then she had her muscles on the right side of her stomach removed, her colon , the tumor, her coccyx , lymphodes and a piece of her vagina removed. All due to lack of doing nothing even when I, her mother, asked for tests. very unprofessional and lack of caring. He did call to say how sorry he was but rather late.

Just use google to look up what might be wrong and how to help treat it. If you dont he will, sometimes right in front of you. He is completely incompetent and as useless as the rest of his staff.

took a long time, the receptionist was also one of the rudest people ever, and i was only allowed to state one problem.

We are blessed to have someone so committed and knowledgeable in our area. My son was recently transferred to the IWK and the specialist there was impressed by the knowledge of our local doctor and how he diagnosed the patient. Helped our family far more times then I can count.
He is the best.

Don't go near him if you have been bitten by a tick. He will tell you to go home and wait for symptoms. When you get symptoms (such as flu-like systemic misery, swollen, aching joints, drenching sweats, fever and chills, memory loss, loss of balance, falling down etc etc etc) he will tell you that you have normal signs of aging and send you home. This guy causes late stage Lyme disease, which is rampant in Lunenburg.

Dr. Jenkins is a sweetheart. Competent and genial. It's a delight to meet him at emergency. We had that experience twice and both times he narrowed down what might be the problem, requested the required tests, identified the problem, and referred us to the care we needed. He is an excellent physician.
