Dr hauck is a wonderful doctor he fixed my lung havent had any problems he is a great surgeon

My wife of 48 years, died under his care. She had a esophagus resection surgery. She was recovering ok until she was given a gastrografin swallow test her last day in the hospital. Ten hours after the test she was very sick. She was in a lightly monitored section of the hospital. She was left there for 14 hours after the doctor knew she was vomiting and semi concious. She was moved to CICU the next morning by his Doctor Assistence where she continued to vomit for two more days until she was unconcious. She died on the ventlator. The Doctor throught she was having allergic reaction to gastrografin causing her intestines to shut down. Her blood was sepsis from infection. The doctor throught the infection was due to dead intestines. A private forsenic autopsy shown no intestine problem, but she had died of severe pneumonia from the vomit in her lungs. He failed to install the NG tube when my wife started to vomit.Hospital Risk management and an Attorney are reviewing her hospital records
