Multifocal lenses have given me near perfect vision at every distance, including for reading. Expensive but worth every penny. Having both eyes done at once is an option most doctors do not offer, worked very well for me with basically a 3 day recovery.

My experience was very bad as well as the result of the surgery and poor assistance in the follow-up.

I had a great experience from my first phone call with the office staff (I had numerous questions) to my follow up appointment the day after surgery. Dr. Shatz took his time with my consultation answering my questions and setting clear expectations about my expected results. Everyone in the office was highly professional. I'm seeing 20/20 in both eyes one week after surgery. That's better than I saw with contacts or glasses. This surgery was life changing for me. I highly recommend Dr. Shatz and SightTrust Eye Institute.

I had a rushed follow-up, minimal explanation of a proposed intervention, and am not satisfied. I would not (and will not) return to his office.

After reviewing the top half dozen Ophthalmologists in South Florida and soliciting numerous recommendations, selecting Dr. Shatz and the team at Sight Trust was the perfect choice. They instilled such confidence and reassurance in their poise , precision, and personal care it their work and my results were outstanding. The best recommendation I can make is to send the rest of my family to them when the time comes for cataract surgery. Thank you.

I was told that I would never have to wear glasses again so paying the hight price to me was worth it. After I was sedated I was told that I would have to wear glasses and had to sign a form I couldn't even read. Before I had one pair of glasses trifocal, now I need a pair of glasses for reading, a pair for the computer and a pair for distance. Close range I can see except at night where I get a cloudy vision. They said it would be better with time but it's been two years and I haven't seen any improvement. So very disappointed.

We appreciate your feedback about your experience with SightTrust Eye Institute, and are sorry that you feel your vision has not yet reached the level that you expected. As we discussed during your initial evaluation and subsequent visits to our center, our goal is to do everything possible to help you achieve glasses-freedom and the best vision that you can have. We do not put a time-limit on how long after your procedure we will offer enhancements; and as long as you have not had any eye surgeries by another surgeon before or since Dr. Shatz performed your procedure, those enhancements are complimentary. We truly hope that you will contact our center directly; it is the easiest way to have us help you get the vision you deserve!
