Dr. Mellits is an expertly skilled physician, compassionate and patient centered at every appointment I've had with him for over 10 years. This is a doctor who actually looks at your lab work & xrays after they come back from the lab & radiology. In 2006, he called me personally to tell me he did not feel comfortable with the looks of my recent "normal" chest xray and recommended several doctors I could follow up with. End result - lung cancer caught in early stages - had surgery - did not need chemo or radiation and am still alive in 2013. Thank God for Dr. Mellits. His offices & staff are absolutely professional & I especially like one of his nurses "Sue-Sue" as she is always wonderful to deal with.

In urgent medical situation took over a week to get appt. with nurse. Referrrals to specialists got lost between Dr. and Staff. When complained, Doctor rude, unprofessional and medically irresponsible.
