Dr. Stas has been our family doctor for over 40 years. My daughter and her family live in Colborne and still come here when they need a physician. He is friendly and has a life long experience.

Doctor Stas has been our doctor since 2009, I read some of the comments below and wonder if they are sure is the same doctor. To me and my family he has been an incredible blessing. He is always kind, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. I have gone through many medical scares and Dr. Stas has always been there to support me and reassure me things will be ok without sugar coding it. I moved to Toronto but I still drive all the way to Ajax just to see him. I don't know what our lives will be without him, I hope I could clone him and for him to be my family's doctor for generations to come.

Unfortunately rate my Dr. Is alot of complaints.
I'm here to praise Dr. Stas , has been a bench mark in durham health care for many yrs.
Delivered my son 25 yrs ago , recently cared for my 86 yr old mother while at centenary.
The young doctors these days could benefit with Dr. Stas being a mentor , knowledge is required but it's the empathy and bedside manner Dr. Stas still exhibits thats missing .

Very rude, negligent, not helpful at all. After having my baby, my new doctor had informed me that Dr Stas had recorded my blood type wrong in my medical file!

Very apathetic and sinister when he is wrong with his diagnosis. Ignorant of factual information and aggressive responses when asked to review reports from other doctors through his referrals. He was rude and arrogant with my health concerns. I regret being a client of his practice. He was probably an exceptional doctor, in the past. In my honest opinion, dr. Stas was not ethical in his dealings with me.. Do your own research before making an appointment here.

He circumcised me almost 42 years ago, October 28th 1980. Im on the move to sue. Not impressed someone took a piece of my body without my consent.

I honestly don't understand the glowing reviews. If all you need is meds or a referral that's fine but forget anything further. I'm sure he was a decent doctor two decades ago, but he's just rude and pushy and can't be bothered to actually send you for anything other than a blood test.

We love him. Best caring doctor we've ever known. Straight to the point. Has been our doctor for over 3 decades. Never want him to retire. It would be a great loss to us.
