Dr Bow is smart. However his bedside manner is poor and my appointments always felt rushed. I never pressed my questions because he always said “things are going good, everything is normal” however all of a sudden at 37 weeks we discovered my baby is very large and I have excess amniotic fluid. This makes me wonder if this happened suddenly or if he just wasn’t paying enough attention throughout the pregnancy. I feel he would know what to do in emergency situations, but I believe I will see a different OB in my next pregnancy.

This dr. Did not give me time if day and discriminated against me because of my weight. I was treated very poorly.

I had my Tubal ligation reversed and 2 successful births after under the care of Dr. Bow and I couldn’t have been treated better!! Dr. Bow and all the staff and doctors at Southside Woman’s Centre gave us the best care! I found Dr. Bow to be very kind, knowledgeable and always took the time to answer all our questions!

I saw Dr Bow for 21/2 years due to heavy bleeding. From the first appointment I found him to be condescending and dismissive. I would be sent for a tests which he never followed up on. Always ended every appointment telling I would go into menopause soon so don't worry. Ended up in Emergency due to blood loss and took the opportunity to ask for a different OBGYN. Less than eight months later with a different Dr. all issues have been resolved. Run don't walk from this doctor.

To all the horrible experiences by this Doctor. I would like you read my review carefully. I had a prolapse with my last child and I strongly believe it was due to inducing my labour! Dr. Bow pressured me after To get my tubes tied I was a most vulnerable and feel as if he does this as a technique in order to get the procedure done! Years have gone by and I went to him because of incontinence and he pulled on my uterus with the instrument they use to due paps . If there any law suites against this doctor please contact me. The positive reviews are lucky they have not been hurt
I wouldn't recommend this doctor!

Nothing but amazing things to say! Dr. Bow has cared for me through both my pregnancies and both times I've had an amazing experience. He's quick, efficient, and caring. There were a few appointments where he was unavailable and I had to see his colleagues and they are great as well! Unfortunately, he was not on call for both my deliveries but his colleagues were and both doctors were just as amazing as he is! I highly recommend Dr. Bow, or any Dr at the clinic, for your pregnancies. You will not be disappointed!!

25 - 21 years ago with endometriosis and a complete bicornuate uterus Dr Bow walked my thru 3 complete pregnancies. All were emergency c-sections (New Years eve and thanksgiving for two of them to boot)and All were complicated (I had 2 file folders each about 4 inches thick) and all born between 29 - 33 weeks then cut and cortized my tubes at 28 years old at my request given my history and issues...I left Alberta for 15 years 3 years ago came back with same, different gynaecological issues and he picked up where we had left off and was still as compassionate knowledgeable and diligent as he had always been.
If you are looking for an everything doctor he is your man. I would say if anyone rates him lower then a five that the issues they spew probably were not in anything he did but a little to do with the person writing the post.

Not sure how I feel.. Dr. Bow is friendly, however always 40-50 minutes behind schedule and then spends less than 5 minutes with me.. I feel like somewhat of an inconvenience if I have to ask a question. I have some serious concerns, and he just keeps saying 'yep it's normal' before I even finish my sentence.. I usually end up having to see my GP again after my OB appts because I still have so many questions.. :(
