Biography

Karen Weldon, M.D. performs Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and devotes her medical practice to helping women and men overcome symptoms of hormonal imbalance, using a combination of nutritional guidance, pharmaceutical-grade supplements and natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). Dr. Weldon was trained as an OB/GYN and decided to transition into functional medicine so that she could spend more time with patients and resolve their underlying health issues with a preventive approach, rather than merely treating symptoms. Dr. Weldon received her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in June of 1992. Four years later, she completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Dr. Weldon has over 20 years of clinical experience and is an active member of the fellowship for Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine and the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
