I took my aunt to Dr. Meka's office to get a medical clearance for her surgery next week. Unfortunately he was on vacation. There were two people working in the office though. They said they weren't able to sign the papers and my aunt would actually need to see a doctor first. (We were expecting that.) One handed the papers back to her and my aunt asked if she could get the envelope back that they came in. That's when this woman went nuts! She said "Ok. But you don't need to give me that attitude!" I gave my aunt a puzzled look. She asked politely and didn't have an "attitude" this woman was accusing her of. So I said "Attitude? What attitude?" She then responded "She's my patient and I know how she is! And now YOU'RE giving me the same kind of attitude!" We finally got the envelope and as we were leaving I said she was very unprofessional. She said "YOU'RE the one that's being unprofessional! Just walk away!" It's like she was looking to start trouble. I have never seen anyone so hateful! She stood in the doorway and glowered at us as we drove out of the parking lot. I will definitely be reporting her rude and unacceptable behavior to Dr. Meka when he returns from vacation. My aunt and uncle both have been going to him for several years but he has just lost two patients. If this is the caliber of people he employs I wouldn't trust him with my health.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mekas for about 8 years and he is not only a great doctor, he's a wonderful person. He really cares about his patients. You may have to wait to see him, but he's well worth the wait!

This doctor was one of the worst I have ever came across. He caters more to the elderly patients than his younger ones, and on my very first visit as a new patient, he was an hour and 45 mins late, then after the visit he told me to come back in 6 mos.

This man is one of the kindest and sweetest doctors I've ever been around. He treated my elderly mother for several years and was so good with her. Has a great bedside manner and I highly recommend him.
