He was horrible. He diagnosed me in 5 minutes. I have had 3 strokes in 1 year. He did not talk to me. He did not care. He look down on me. He did not care. He should not be working with people. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Horrible doctor. Saw me in 5 minutes. I have had 3 strokes in 1 year and he would not listen to me. He did not shake my hand or greet me. He should not be interacting with patients. I am so hurt by the way he treated me.

Absolutely no bedside manner; Did not have test results read before visit (this was the second time he had sone this); Had to wait over an over only to be told the same thing that I had been told on the last visit; Asked questions about another chronic disease I suffer from while in the presence of another patient--I felt my privacy rights had been violated.; Questioned my relatioship status (didn't believe what I had noted on paperwork); His assistant and other office staff communicated incorrect information to me before appointment; Very unorganized office personnel; I would NOT recommend this physician to anyone!

I was a patient of the practice in 2006. I was referred back to them this week for a new condition/new symptoms. He did not ask anything about my new condition/new symptoms. He did not read the records and test results from my PCP from last week. He did not read the Questionaire I filled out in his waiting room. He spent 10 minutes with me. Came back with 4 pages of Rx based on his notes from 2006. And then, made a negative comment about my PCP, the one who referred me to him. I want a refund of my co-pay!

Rude. Tempermental. Why this guy has such a great reputation in the community is beyond me. He has no professionalism whatsoever and would never make it in any world outside of medicine - and I don't really see how he has any success there either. Go elsewhere - you are not missing anything here!

My husband died two years ago of a neurological disease. Dr. Kiely was his neurologist. I will never forget how cold and uncaring Dr. Kiely was. Quite obviously he did not care if my husband suffered or died. He told me (not my husband) the dianosis over the phone and that was the last time we ever heard from him. I would have thought he would be interested in the disease from a scientific point of view if nothing else, but I guess not. His office staff was surly and resentful and I had to beg over and over again for paperwork, even when it was for Hospice. After all of the doctors we saw and tests my husband had, what stands out in my mind the most is the utter callousness and disregard shown by Dr. Kiely.

If this is the same Dr. James Kiely from Atlanta Neurology, I concur with the other rating. He has no respect for patients and belongs back in a research lab.

Refuses to listen to your symptoms; told me not to say anything unless he asks. Was EXTREMELY rude when he said it. He said it as he would if he had been telling me to shut up.
