Biography
Dr. Sekundiak earned his medical degree in 1987 from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, and an arthroplasty fellowship at the Arizona Center for Joint Replacement in Phoenix and Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Central DuPage Hospitals in Chicago. Since then, he has served as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Manitoba, medical director of the Manitoba Bone and Tissue Bank, head of the Subsection Adult Hip and Knee Canadian Medical Association and the examiner of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Sekundiak is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in adult joint reconstruction using minimally invasive techniques and in the revision of mostly lower extremity failures. His research interests include outcomes management of these cases.

He replaced my knee and the glue came loose in the first month. When I complained of the pain , he just said " You won't like it if I give you a revision" So I went to a different surgeon. As far as I'm concerned he shouldn't be a Dr. He had terrible attitude and blamed me for my bad knee.
