I think dr Adamson is a good surgeon and his results are safe. If you want a real change I would be safe but some times younger surgeons are more innovative

I had such an amazing experience with Dr Adamson and his team!!! So caring and professional and overall Incredible. I can not name a better surgeon than Dr. Adamson!

It is very difficult to say something different than what other reviews entail.
Let me say this much, I have many years of first hand experience in both medical and surgical
fields. I’ve worked with doctors who were compassionate and meticulous.
I’ve worked with others who were insolent. Some who gave much less than 100%.
I researched extensively before consulting Dr. Adamson.
To have a face lift and neck lift was a huge decision for me.
Spending that type of money on myself, not wanting people to know I had surgery.
I sought to improve my ‘aging’ look. To look as young as I most often felt.
Yet I grappled with my vanity. Should I ? Shouldn’t I.
In the end I made the appointment, had the consultation. Decided to go ahead with Dr. Adamson’s recommendations.
Now at 3 month’s post surgery I am very pleased that I moved forward with the suggested surgery. The staff in the Operating room were lovely.
Particularly Shirley. She held my hand and said such soothing things as I went to sleep.
Eric Carniol was an absolute prince. Kind, capable and reassuring.

Vanessa, Nora, Joanne. Superb care and compassion all along the way. Pre and post surgery.
Many visits later, I can say I don’t regret my decision for a minute.
To make this kind of decision, as in a sharp knife to your face..you need to have faith and trust your surgeon. Dr. Adamson is a perfectionist, and it shows by the results I have seen.
Moreover he is kind, takes all the time you need to explain everything along the way.
So I summarize by saying...
Look after yourself!
Life is short. Put your best foot forward. You won’t regret it!

I have had many procedures with Dr. Adamson. He is very kind and does excellent work. The information I received before and after surgery was very helpful and thorough! I hope the new doctor
is as good as Dr. Adamson.
The receptionist never looks like she wants to be there and is impatient.

I am not happy with the resilts of my nosejob and quite frankly should have chosen another surgeon. Im not sure if he did it or one of his students. I would recommend going to a surgeon who does the iperation himself

Dr. Adamson is the best cosmetic surgeon in Toronto - hands down. And it is such a shame that he is now retiring because finding a doctor who can replicate his results will not be an easy task, to say the least. I went to Dr. Adamson for a face/neck lift and eyelids. His consultations, as always, are very detailed and thorough. He actually LISTENS and answered all my questions - he never once makes you feel rushed in your appointment or that your concerns/questions don't matter. He was kind, compassionate, detail-oriented and honest - the best qualities you can find in any plastic surgeon. I went ahead with my surgery - which went very well! My recovery was not as bad as I expected - I was up and about in two days. I called the office a couple of times in the middle of the night to talk to the doctor who shadowed him about any concerns I had. Dr. Adamson saw me several times after surgery (and as always was incredibly kind and honest about my progress) and now - five months later - I can say that it was one of the best decisions I have made to go through with it! As always, Dr. Adamson's results are outstanding but ALWAYS natural and elegant - never "too plastic". I will say that I have been receiving compliments from so many people and many have noticed that 'something' is different (in a positive way) but they can't exactly pinpoint the change. The procedure has shaved years off my age. I feel and look better than I did when I was in my 20's. It was money well spent and I couldn't be more grateful that I found such an incredible doctor to perform such a major surgery - because if you make the decision to do work on your face, really nothing else is more important than finding the best of the best and Dr. Adamson is exactly that. He will be missed and no matter who takes over his practice, nobody will ever compare to his level of surgical skill, artistic vision and compassionate personality. Patients, including myself, were lucky to have him!

I am so thankful that I chose Dr. Adamson to do my rhinoplasty. I'm about 3 months post-op and the whole process has been so amazing, and way easier than expected. I had been considering getting my nose done for about 5 years but never found a doctor that I felt comfortable enough with and started to feel discouraged. After seeing a friend who recently had their nose done with Dr. Adamson, I made a consultation right away. After meeting with him for the first time I knew he was the only person I would trust with my face. We had the same end goal, which was a more flattering feminine looking nose that still looked natural. I wanted the hump shaved down and the tip to look less "droopy." He took his time explaining what he could do to achieve my desired result and was very detail oriented. After each meeting with him I left feeling more confident and excited. On the day of the surgery I was less nervous than I expected. All of the nurses and the anesthesiologist were amazing, and made me feel so comfortable before and after the procedure. Dr. Adamson even held my hand while I was going under the anesthesia. The surgery went exactly as planned and I woke up feeling great with no nausea or pain. The first night post-op was the hardest, only because I had some anxiety about not being able to breathe out of my nose. I met with Dr. Carniol (Dr. Adamson's associate) the morning after my surgery and a few more times the first week. He answered all my questions and was a pleasure to see at each checkup. The most painful part of the whole process was probably getting the stitches out but it only took a few minutes. On day 7 my cast came off and the splints came out (not painful at all by the way) and I already loved the look of my nose. It was swollen but I could see a huge difference. Each day my nose looks better and better. Nobody can tell I had it done, and all the people I've told are in shock by how natural it looks. Both Dr. Adamson and Dr. Carniol are the reason this experience has been so positive for me. Dr. Carniol was nice enough to squeeze me in one Saturday morning because I thought I had ruined my nose (I didn't) by putting too much pressure on it. I would highly recommend both doctors to anyone and am thrilled with the results. I keep forgetting I had anything done because of how well my new nose fits my face. Dr. Adamson really is as good as everyone says and deserves all the praise he gets. He has given me the confidence I needed and has been so humble and kind throughout this entire experience.

My Experience with Dr. Adamson and all his staff, was top notched. Exactly what I expected from a world class Plastic/Cosmetic Surgeon. I had a septorhinoplasty as i have had trouble breathing, and i had trauma to my nose for at least 10 years before. From the first consultation, to the after care followup, I felt completely at ease. He didnt promise me the world, but promised we would see definite improvement. Both Dr Admason and his Dr Corneil (not sure about spelling) Sorry! made sure I had no questions, and explained every step of the procedures. They spent hours before the actual procedure sitting with me, so I understood what I was going to do. Their compassion, kindness, and Bedside manner made me feel completely at ease... Then just before the procedure Dr. Adamson came in to see me and made sure I felt good, and made sure i didn't have any last minute concerns.. Even when I was getting Anasthesia he held my hand, and said we are going to take good care of you.. That in itself made me feel soo much better. When they opened up my nose it was worse then thought, because they couldn't see some other issues from the outside. They fixed everything, Post Surgery, the doctors were available anytime of day, in case something was wrong. ON Day 2 I felt terrible, as the anaesthesia had worn off. My wife paged the doctors, they called back right away, and were available if we wanted to come and see them. This was all normal feelings i was having, so we stayed home. I am now 3.5 weeks out., feel fantastic. I felt very strongly that I was NOT going to have a doctor who does these procedures sometimes mess with my nose. I wanted the best out there, and got the best.. The staff is top notch and courteous, and always called me by name. You feel like family... My only regret is that I didn't do this earlier, when i could have felt better a long time ago.

I recently underwent a sub Smas or mini face and neck lift, upper blepharoplasty ( upper lid reduction), laser for the upper and lower lip and laser for the perioccular area and 10 days after my operation, i am already getting some compliments even though it is not completely healed. I am a business woman working with very young staff and still have a few more years before my retirement - so wanted to have a ""fresh and energetic"" look to feel confident around my colleagues and our clients. Please note that this was my 2nd intervention with Dr Adamson and once again i am thrilled with the treatment and care that I received and the results. Dr Adamson is a world class surgeon with an extremely professional and humane approach. His team is highly competent and pleasant. An overall very good experience and highly recommended.
