Staff was very kind however my experience with this Doctor was one of the worst I have had. From the beginning the Doctor did not believe my medical history and negated to the point where the conversation was no longer useful. He wanted to change my medications without having a full review of all my past medical records. Refused to acknowledge other Doctors diagnosis and was overall rude. I am not normally a person who writes reviews, however the experience I had yesterday horrible. If you are looking for a doctor who is kind, empathetic and wants to listen to your story, he is not it.

I was referred to Dr. Nammour by my neurosurgeon for an EMG Nerve study. I have numbness in both hands and arms and pain in my sciatic nerve. I also have neck and back pain from osteoarthritis. Dr. Nammour was abrupt, and rude. He asked questions and then only half listened to what I was trying to tell him about my condition, the doctors I had seen and the other testing I had already done. He interrupted me about 3 times and talked over me. During the procedure, he jerked off my bracelet and watch like he was inconvenienced without asking me first, to remove them. He did not explain anything he was doing and did not listen when I tried to explain what my doctor had said about surgery. I am shocked to read good reviews in other places, because this is not the doctor I saw. This test is uncomfortable at best. It involves an instrument that I can only compare to a small cattle prod and then needles stuck in various places (where I already have a lot of pain) He did not appear to care when these things were painful, and when the needles sticks left me bleeding in places all over the my arms and legs. I had to ask for a Kleenex when he was leaving because I had small droplets of blood everywhere. I take aspirin, so bleeding is worse for me, but I felt he had not bothered to look at my chart before the procedure and warn me that this would happen.. I expected him to explain what he was going to do, but he didn’t explain anything. During the test, which was done at breakneck speed, I asked him to tell me what he was testing for and what he was hoping to find or see. He ignored my questions. He did not ask me at any time during the test about my symptoms, my pain or anything about the condition I was there to test. I felt like a lab experiment rather than a patient. I would not ever go to him for anything, no matter how much he apparently knows about neuro-diseases. He knows nothing about people, and I felt he could have cared less about me. I left hurting worse than before and bleeding in tiny places all over! He could have spent just a moment to hear me, or to be compassionate, but there was way too much arrogance for that. I left feeling wounded and totally dissed. Terrible experience.

Dr. Nammour is simply a ROCKSTAR! My husband has Parkinson's Disease and since switching to Dr. Nammour last year, he has seen a marked improvement. He put him on a proper medication routine and dosage, and later referred him for the DBS surgery, which was done last month. The hubby has healed very well and is quite satisfied with the care he has received. Dr. Nammour is personable, a realist, a Confident man, compassionate, overly generous, responsive, and always genuinely interested in our lives and well-being. Every time we called for something, and that was often, his front office staff has always been helpful, despite how busy they often are. His nurses have gone over and beyond to help my husband get the very expensive medication he required by working with participating Parkinson’s associations and insurance providers. My husband says, "He is the best doctor I've ever had!" and it takes a great deal for him to say something like that. If you are in the market for a neurologist, call Dr. Nammour's office; you won't be disappointed.

I really had high hopes for meeting Dr. Nicolas today, especially after reading all the good reviews online. Unfortunately my experience was totally the opposite.
I suffer from severe headaches and I came to see Dr. Nicolas to get a second opinion after doing a number of tests with another neurologist and I brought the results with me for him to see. After I explained my symptoms to him and the pain Im going through, he checked the tests results and looked at me and said "why are you here?" I told him "to get a second opinion". He said "You've done all the tests, what do you want me to do?"! I was shocked, then I told him "I'm sorry for wasting your time! I guess I should just give up and live with the pain?!" After that he ended with "I recommend that you stop seeing many doctors!".
I honestly don't know if the doctor was having a bad day or what but this was one of the worst experiences with a doctor ever. On the other hand the staff of the clinic are really polite and organized.

Dr Nammour is a very good Dr. He truly cares about the patient. He’s attentive and caring. The front desk receptionist is not. She doesn’t acknowledge your presence at all. He could do better with the check in process in my opinion but the back office staff is top notch. I did observe one employee without a mask on which was bothersome during this pandemic. But overall if you need a good neurologist Dr. Nammour is fantastic!!! Staff come and go but the Dr is what’s important.

Dr. Nammour and his staff strive to make each of my visits as pleasant and caring as possible. Their attitude and professionalism relaxes me on my most stressful visits. I love the time Dr. Nammour takes with me in explaining my health issue, diagnoses and solutions to ensure I leave his office with a clear understanding and he is a good listener. His sense of human is definitely a plus! 😊

I'm a veteran. Went for EMG Dec 2019. Right from the start Dr Nammour was not interested in performing my EMG. He attended his personal call on the cell phone and did not describe what procedure he was performing on me. Did not mention or took my approval of another resident performing procedure on me. Dropped my walking stick on the floor and kicked my socks and shoes under the bed I was lying and did not bother to put it back as they were. Very poor attitude and treated me as I was nothing and have no value. I was in severe pain and numbing both legs. I have hard time walking and numbness is there all the time. I don't believe that his practice is any good. He should be evaluated by the higher authorities to see if he is doing his job or not. His practice and performance is so bad that I had to google him to write this complain and review. My name is Syed Waqif and I am a Veteran. May God put some sense in him.

Dr. Nicolas Nammour is a GREAT doctor. We found Dr. Nammour through a "family friend doctor" who is also very much respected Katy area doctor. We were told that Dr. Nammour is a smart and caring doctor and will find your problem and will be able to treat you and we found this to be true. Dr. Nammour and his entire staff deserve the highest rating.
