For you educated women out there...that want to have an active say on your pregnancy and delivery DO NOT use this Doctor. Simply said he has a God complex where he is the IT all and your feelings and opinions have zero Value. I thanked my lucky stars to have seen his true colors before my Natural Delivery of my baby girl!! I switched him...you are never too late in your term to switch to a decent human being and doctor!

Dr. Joseph Triana is the biggest jerk! I don't know how he is still handling pregnant women when he has zero compassion!! He wanted to give me an unnecessary induced labor at only 37 weeks because he said that my baby would be too big and the size of my baby would cause too many complications. I told him I did not want to be induced at 37 weeks unless there was a health concern. I was completely healthy and had no complications through out my pregnancy and was only 25 yrs. old. At 38 weeks he continued to pressure me into inducing labor. I even had a stress test done just to prove to him that would not be a liability (as he claimed I would be if I were to give birth at 39 weeks),and that my baby was ok stay in me until full term. He called me to yell at me and lecture me over the phone then threaten to throw me out of his care if I didnt let him induce me at 39 weeks.
Finally, at 39 weeks I was dilated 3 cm and he scheduled me to meet him at the birthing ward to induce labor on his lunch break!! I cried and asked him what the rush was and told him I wanted to go home to pack my overnight bag and get my fiance and family together to be with me at the hospital when I gave birth. He threatened again to throw me out of his care. I checked myself into the birthing ward anyway because I was crying so hard and felt like I was about to go into labor from the stress and torment Dr. Joseph Triana put me through. I told the nurses help me and they had to checked my blood pressure because I was crying hysterically because of Dr. Triana's treatment. That jerk, Dr. J. Triana, called the room I was checked into and yelled at me some more and is exact words to me were,'You think you know so much about obstetrics, you can go ahead and deliver your baby yourself. And the only hospital that is going to take you in this far along in your pregnancy is in the emergency room at Jackson Memorial, so you'll be giving birth next to a crack head in the ER!!'.
Thankfully, the director of nurses at the birthing ward heard the whole thing and she reported Dr. Triana for me and volunteer to advocate for me in reporting Dr. Triana to the board of obstetrics. I was under so much stress I ended up going into labor the next day and gave natural birth to a healthy 7 lb 19" baby boy. It also turns out after investigation that Dr. Triana had a ski trip planned for his family at the time I gave birth so his whole motive was to make money off my delivery and schedule it in at his own convenience.
