This was the second surgeon I went to for help bc the first was was also not a good doctor. He was abrupt with zero emotion. I'm not even sure he knows what compassion is. He would only prescribe one prescription that was $700. I asked for something else bc that's a ridiculous amount to ask anyone to pay for a prescription. He called me to argue with me over the phone for 10 minutes saying he only will give me what he originally prescribed. That I could find another surgeon, there's 100s of them in my area.

What a terrible thing to say to someone that's been experiencing pain and lacking quality of life from her issue for over a year. He doesn't even deserve to have a license to practice. I feel badly for the amazing women he has working for then.

Abrupt. Assumed I wanted surgery, when I didn't. Misrepresented fees. Before visit I was told it would be $125. Actual bill: $451!

The Staff and punctuality of the staff are actually a 5 star. But I decided to rate all of them 1 star to get the attention of the reader here. The other reviews I just read on here are spot on. He has arrogance. He is nice, but arrogant. He just doesn't seem to care about his job anymore. My biggest problem was the cleanliness of the rooms, and his total disregard for this. Both visits, he had me disrobe and lay on the table. Both times there wasn't even paper, or new paper, pulled out to cover the table. Meaning other people had been examined in this same manner, on a bare table. This scared the ever loving sh** out of me. So I pulled the paper out myself. In a time of Coronavirus, what are these people thinking? Lastly, in both examinations I explain what my issue is (most likely a small internal hemmoroid), he brushed off all of my research, had me lay down on this dirty table, and both times proceeded to tell me that he "can't get his finger in there". Mind you all of the pain I was already in. But he didn't actually even put an effort in. Instead he got frustrated, and then told me to go get this $700 Nitroglycerine ointment. (I had to pay out of pocket, as I do not have prescription insurance). Then told me I need surgery, wants to cut my sphincter muscle and all of this, just for a small internal hemorrhoid that should be able to be simply banded. I am going to another doctor this week for a second opinion. One in West Palm that has much higher ratings and reviews on other sites.

I don't know if Dr, Zelnick is a great Doctor or a lousy one. My experience at his office was terrible. I had a sprcific issue and he was not interested in explaining anything to me. all he wanted to do was check me into the hospital and take a look. I don't know if that meant an exploratory operation or what. He was not interested in explaining anything or listening to me. I found him to be the most arrogant Doctor that I have ever seen.

Doesn't listen to patient, just comes to a conclusion. Weeks trying to get surgery scheduled. Doesn't explain diagnosis nor procedure and gets annoyed if you ask questions or require clarification. He is indifferent and not happy at all with the quality of his care.
