Our family has been going to Dr. Pillay for over 14 years. He has seen 3 out of 4 of my children and I have just been referred to an ENT so I requested him. He has always been thorough, informative and caring and we absolutely love him as our specialist. I have been to other ENT's and he blows them out of the water by far. The staff is great when yo are there in person...I really don't care for dealing with them on the phone as they aren't very personable. Time wise I don't know and have not been to any type of doctor and gotten in to see them in less than an hour...unfortunately our system is strained and you are going to see it somewhere and it is usually waiting to see them.

Dr. Pillay and his staff are really helpful and friendly people. I find he’s always open to what I’m concerned about and will order tests to be sure. I’ve had two surgeries done by him as well and never had to wait too long. I agree with the other reviewer that he has a great bedside manner.

Due to his lack of care, I am completely deaf in my right ear. Disgusted. Will never go back

At first he seemed fine but that changed quickly. He answered two phone calls from other doctors during my visit and so had me wait and then pushed me through my appointment in a rude manner. As a chronic tinnitus sufferer, he rushed through my assessment and barely took the time to check my history and allow me to ask all of the questions I had. The most disappointing was he prescribed me an anti-depressant (I am not depressed and so will not take these) and told me to 'suck it up' and spend the money to purchase a sound masking device. I would have been fine with it if he had asked me to reschedule as he was obviously busy with other things. I am very disappointed and will never go back to see him.

Dr Pillay is wonderful I’ve seen him for over 10 years and always been treated wonderfully. He is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner, especially when I had to have surgery. He was patient answered all my questions and walked me and my spouse through the procedure.

We have come to visit dr pillay many times and he’s always OVER 1 hour late even for the first appointment of the day. Ridiculous!

Dr. Pillay was fantastic! Very personable and helpful. He took his time with me to understand my medical history and while he ruled out that my issue was something he could help with, he pointed me In the right direction to get the help I need.
