Dr Scott knows his stuff but can be condescending towards parents and what they think is going on with their child. He’s also unprofessional in the fact that he was making inappropriate comments towards my wife and our marriage and how she should of married him. Completely out of line and honestly he deserves to be punched in the mouth for being so disrespectful. I’m sure his wife would love to know that he’s flirting with married women at his practice. If he got comfortable enough to say that to my wife he’s most likely made other inappropriate comments to other women.

Apparently his time is precious. If I don't call within the allocated "phone time" I won't get to speak with him that day. This is the second day I've called and been avoided because of when I called.

We love Dr. Scott and have been with him for 6 years, with 2 boys and 1 on the way! When our first was born developed sever jaundice when we brought him home. We took him back to the emergency room at Baylor hospital this next day and it was awful. The hospital didn't have a oediatrician on call to treat him. When we told him our Dr. Was Dr. Scott, they were able to get in touch with him and he called us personally from Mexico to walk us through what to do and even followed up with us the next day. When Baylor failed us miserably, he came to the rescue while out of the country on vacation.

Yes, he is blunt. We don't need someone to coddle our children and tell ha we are great parents. We need a doctor who knows what he is doing and puts the health and welfare of children above telling the parents what they want to hear. In the day and ar of medicine, it's hard to find a doctor who you can actually see, let alone have him care enough to open up 1/2 an hour every day for parents who need to call in and ask a question to a doctor and actually speak with him.

We love Dr. Scott!!

I love Dr. Scotts office. I have been taking my son to his office since he was born. Whenever Dr. Scott isnt available, I am almost always able to get into Dr. Roberts. I recently moved to Mansfield and still make the long drive to Grapevine so I dont have to switch offices. He is blunt and straight to the point but as a worry wart, that is what I need to ease my mind.

Dr. Scott is definitely odd but he is extremely knowledgable and he has a great instinct about the care he provides. I tend to be very anxious about the health of my children and he is very blunt about my overreactions - I usually leave feeling a little foolish but he is always right. We have taken both kids to him since birth and my son is now 5. It doesn't surprise me that a lot of people don't relate to him very well, he is eccentric. But if you want a great doctor I highly recommend him.

Every negative I've read about this doctor is true. I did not want to take my daughter there after viewing those reviews. But I was overruled by my daughter's mother and grandma. In the end..we all learned that father knows best...at least in this instance. You can read about DR Scott from everybody else. I'll share my experience with a staff member: I recently called Dr Scott's office. The person answering the phone could not find my daughter by last name. Turns out they had it completely wrong. Also, the same person informed me that she didn't believe my daughter had ever been to the office for an appointment. I disputed that, in light of the fact that I had visited the office with my daughter for her appointment. By the end of the call, the receptionist sounded like she had an attitude with ME! LOL! An 1/2 hour later a nurse did call back and we got things straightened out. People who give this place good reviews...must be gluttons for punishment! :)

Dr. Scott never has appointments open and we always get stuck with the N. P. That and his staff is really rude. I went here on a recommendation but I think I am going to change doctors for my son.

The best words to describe Dr. Scott (and not necessarily in this order) are "weird" "creepy" and "rude". We just moved here and Dr.Robert came as a recommendation but he wasn't taking new patients so we signed up for Dr. Scott. The first thing he said when he met my 6 year old is "Well, you're not so bright are you? Your head is supposed to be at this end of the table". I seriously wanted to punch him. It basically went downhill from there - found him to be mildly creepy and just strange. Finally, he told my daughter with a 103 fever that she didn't need to take the Motrin and Tylenol mommy is giving her since it's SO yucky and she'll be just fine without it. What?? Will not go back. Ever.

Way too condescending for my taste. I hold two masters degrees and felt like he talked to me as if I were an idiot who did not know their own child. Glad I left when I did.

I recently moved here. Dr. Scott by far has been the best doctor I have had my children see. They love seeing him. Dr. Scott's humor is in line with my family's type humor. He knew how to I find his technique of distracting the kids while he is exam. They are amazed and never feel scared. He tells it like it is which I appreciate. I don't believe in sugar coating. My son sees a Psychiatrist and Dr. Scott admitted freely he did not know about the medications my son is on. He treated us wonderfully and so did the staff. He has taken us in without an appointment when needed. He's the one doctor I feel like I haven't had to wait for. His overall manner of wanting to find out what's going on in our lives is refreshing. I will miss him when we move. Bluntness is good when it comes to what's going on with your child and how to fix it.
